...that is our national debt, and it continues to rise because Obama will not make the necessary budget cuts to save the United States of America from disaster. $14 TRILLION ... and counting!
Recently, Standard and Poor's warned the United States that there is a 33% chance it would lower the U.S. CREDIT RATING from AAA in the NEXT TWO YEARS ... if Congress fails to cut our nation's debt.
And now, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) predicts THE END of the American economy in just five years.
LOOK AT THE FACTS:
- The United States is the only country of 17 with a "AAA" rating that has a NEGATIVE outlook
- Obama's 2012 budget will add $9.47 Trillion to our national debt
- We borrow 40 cents on every dollar we spend
- The Federal Reserve is printing $75 Billion each month to fund budget deficits
- The unemployment rate is hovering around 9%
- By 2016, China's economy will likely surpass America's

Obama and the Democrats are living in a FANTASY world...it is FANTASY to believe we can continue to print billions of dollars each month to fund our deficit, without making significant cuts in the budget. It is FANTASY to believe that you can tax Americans to the brink of bankruptcy, but still expect the economy to recover. It is FANTASY to believe that fiscal responsibility can occur in Washington, without real leadership.
Obama continues to turn a blind eye to the unemployment rate, food prices, gas prices, and balancing the budget - but he still finds plenty of time to campaign for re-election in 2012.
If Obama has his way, the debt limit will increase indefinitely, and spending will never be reined in. He has NO PLAN to solve our financial problems; he only has a plan to create MORE.
Americans have been asking for spending cuts since the November midterms; yet here we are, nearly six months later, and we are much worse off. The Democrats are trying to push Republicans' backs against the wall and force them to raise the debt ceiling, which will only lead to higher deficits and more spending...because there will be no incentive to STOP the out of control spending if we just keep raising the limit.
That's why you and I must act, NOW, and tell them this is it.

The Obama administration claims that if the debt ceiling is not raised, America will experience an immediate economic failure; but that is not true. He and the Democrats are saying this to create an EMERGENCY, so they will be able to continue taking your money.
By doing this, they are ignoring the REAL EMERGENCY America is in, with our out of control debt. The solution is very obviously not to create MORE!
If Congress refuses to raise the debt ceiling, the federal government will still have more than enough money to service our debt without calamity. Three times in our past: 1985, 1995 and 2002, the debt ceiling was NOT raised, and there was no economic collapse or failure.
Remember, we had to have an $800 Billion stimulus, because it was an EMERGENCY; and we had to have a $1.445 Trillion healthcare bill, because it was an EMERGENCY.
Now, we have to raise the debt ceiling and add more debt, because it's an EMERGENCY?
There's a pattern here!
