Each day, as gas prices move higher and higher, the cynical agenda of the liberal media becomes clearer and clearer. The Media Research Center's Business and Media Institute (BMI) just completed an analysis of news coverage of gas prices rapidly rising under President Bush and gas prices rising by a similar amount over a similar time period this February. The results will not surprise MRC Action team members, but do serve as proof positive of the liberal media's love affair with our current president.

The liberal media not only covered rising gas prices 250% more during the Bush administration, but they also tied them to President Bush and government actions FIFTEEN TIMES MORE OFTEN than they do under President Obama's reign.

This extreme slant of coverage is all that more disgusting as our recession racked economy is terrorized by rising gas prices while we suffer through the most anti-oil president in a generation!

It was because of coverage just like this, that we launched our petition to break President Obama's unhealthy alliance with the Liberal Media! Presented with the same set of facts they savaged a president that they hated and cover for the president they love. George Bush is not the victim of this bias, the victims are the truth and the American people.
