STOP CONGRESSIONAL SPENDING - STOP THE OBAMA 'GRAVY TRAIN'

Grassfire Nation Update

Dear Patriot,

The House has just passed a budget bill that cuts more
than $60 billion in federal spending -- including defunding
ObamaCare, deep cuts to Planned Parenthood, pork projects
and elimination of federal control of Fannie Mae and
Freddie Mac.

But as the bill moves to the Senate, Democrat leaders
appear ready to pounce -- looking to score political
points by casting Republicans as "mean-spirited" and
"callous" and "insensitive" for their cost-cutting actions.

+ + "Read My Lips: We're going to cut spending."

House Speaker John Boehner's words underscore the overwhelming
public sentiment in the U.S. -- cut federal spending and
turn away from Obama's failing "print more spend more"
economic philosophy.

Patriot, with the economic noose tightening around the
neck of our nation, we can't afford to play political games.

As demonstrated during the midterm elections when
       citizens overwhelmingly demanded fiscal responsibility
from the federal government, the time is now to
       substantially cut spending!

That's why Grassfire Nation launched our national "Read Our
Lips: Cut Federal Spending!" petition to give grassroots
Americans one more opportunity to put lawmakers on notice
and hold them accountable during what promises to be a
contentious budget debate when the Senate returns from
break beginning on February 28.

That's why we are urging ALL members of our team to add
their name to this vital petition now so that our officials
can begin delivering to key Senate offices as soon as they
return.

+ + 50,000 Petitions Needed BEFORE THE VOTE

With Obama and his Democrat and union cronies doing what
they can to stir trouble for the embittered Wisconsin
governor Scott Walker, it only serves notice that he will
play the same political games during the budget debates.

That's why it's important for those Americans
who sent a clear mandate during the midterm
elections to rise up right now and shout down
free-spending liberals with tens of thousands
         of petitions!

We demanded action, and now we must hold those legislators
accountable during this critical time!

There is little doubt that unless citizens speak up, Obama
will be free to play a kind of financial shell game that
won't result in any significant, lasting cuts.

In fact, his reckless financial approach which includes the
expansion of the federal size and scope of government will
only lead to more of the same -- resulting in even greater
peril.

That's why it is crucial that Americans stand up during
this time.

But we can't delay. The Senate is expected to begin debate
as soon as they return from their break on February 28,
and it is expected they will vote before the March 4
deadline when government funding is set to expire.

Take a moment right now to join with citizens from around
the nation who are sending a strong "Read My Lips" message
to the Senate to dramatically, and substantially cut federal
spending and start bringing our nation back to responsible
spending practices.
