Americans for Prosperity-Nevada Rallies to Support Gov.
Sandoval’s “No New Taxes” Policy
On Saturday January 29th, Americans for Prosperity-Nevada held a successful rally to support Governor Sandoval and his “No New Taxes” pledge.
Americans for Prosperity-Nevada and hundreds of citizen activists came out in a measurable show of support for Governor Sandoval’s No New Taxes pledge and to stand toe to toe against the teachers unions.

With protesters numbering over 500, Americans for Prosperity was the lone organized voice advocating free-market principles and combating the onslaught of unions fighting for higher taxes and less accountability.

State legislators such as Sens. Barbara Cegavske and Michael Roberson also attended, speaking to protestors and listening to their concerns.
With the highest unemployment, foreclosure, and bankruptcy rates in the nation it is imperative Nevada's budget gap is closed and the state deficit is reduced. The time is now to spur desperately needed job creation and get our economy back on track.
I would like to thank each of you who attended the rally and who help us continue our fight for free market principles, lower taxes, limited government, and economic prosperity. With your help, we will move Nevada forward!
