Americans for Prosperity - Nevada works closely with the Nevada Policy Research Institute to provide the citizens of the silver state with non-partisan information about our state’s economic situation.
Obamacare continues to be a very serious concern as it infringes on patients rights and would massively increase the federal deficit. Recently, two federal judges ruled that Obamacare’s individual mandate is unconstitutional. In Florida, Judger Roger Vinson went a step further, ruling that the individual mandate was not “severable” from the rest of the law. The meaning of this ruling was clear: the implementation of Obamacare must cease.
Our friends at the Nevada Policy Research Institute will be hosting an important seminar about the real implications of Obamacare right here in Nevada. In addition, Michael D. Tanner, Senior Fellow at the Cato Institute, will speak about the prospects of repealing Obamacare.
