The Continuing Resolution (CR) Bill vote in the
House of Representatives will likely take place
on Thursday evening. Attached to the CR Bill are
proposed amendments to defund ObamaCare, defund
Planned Parenthood, and close the loopholes for
taxpayer funding of abortions. Our Representatives

Conservatives,
Sometime tomorrow, Representative Steve King will present his
"Defunding ObamaCare" measure as an amendment to the Continuing
Resolution Bill.
King's amendment would, in essence, defund
ObamaCare totally and retroactively by eliminating
entitlement spending and the self-funding
authorizations.
If Congressman King's proposal is rejected, there is a "Plan B."
Representative Denny Rehberg's amendment attacks the
"discretionary" funding for ObamaCare, but not the entire
overhaul because of the "self-funding provisions" embedded
in the law by arrogant members of the 111th Congress who didn't
want their disastrous bill to be defunded!
Because Rehberg's amendment repeals only the discretionary
funding, it CAN be attached to the CR Bill and will still
defund a significant part of ObamaCare's implementation.
++Pro-life legislators are doing their part to defend life!

There are also a number of pro-life initiatives being offered
as amendments to the CR Bill. Here is a snapshot of those
measures according to Lifenews...
*Section 1590 of H.R. 1 would restore the ban on
government funding of abortion in the District of
Columbia. In late 2009, the Obama Administration
succeeded in effectively repealing a longstanding
ban on the use of federal taxpayer dollars to pay
for abortions in the District of Columbia.
*The budget bill also restores the Mexico City
Policy that President Barack Obama overturned
during his first week as President. The policy
prohibits the use of federal taxpayer funds from
going to groups that promote or perform abortions
in other nations.
*The Republican budget bill yanks funding for the
pro-abortion UNFPA, the United Nations family
planning agency that has promoted abortion globally
and also works closely with family planning officials
in China.
*Two additional pro-life amendments are expected
to be offered to the bill - including one from
Congressman Mike Pence that would deny federal
funds to the Planned Parenthood Federation of
America (PPFA) and its affiliates since it is the
largest abortion business in the nation.
*Congressman John Fleming will offer yet another
pro-life amendment that would prevent the
expenditure of federal funds to rescind or modify
the conscience-protecting regulations the Bush
administration put in place for pro-life medical
workers.
++We MUST Defund ObamaCare and Defend Life!
It will take every effort to ensure that one of the defunding
measures are in place - and to also include those initiatives
that would begin closing the gaping loopholes for taxpayer
funded abortions, including defunding Planned Parenthood.
