The prophetic consequences of an Islamic president
Since
his first major foreign policy address June 4, 2009 in Cairo, Egypt,
the occupant of the Oval Office has promoted Islam from the bully pulpit
of the presidency. Americans have watched aghast at his applying US tax
dollars to support the Caliphate-building, terrorist sponsoring Muslim
Brotherhood as a foreign policy partner. This military, political and
financial support has trickled down to Taliban, al Qaeda, Hamas, and a
myriad of other radical terrorists who have moved from front to front in
Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen and Syria fomenting
death and revolution in the name of Allah. The latest "prisoner swap"
seems more a way to mainstream terrorists than to return an American
soldier. There are consequences.

It is no small irony that two controversies are receiving much more attention than the D-Day anniversary this week, given that both of those debates center on the actions of two "traitorous cowards" or "patriotic heroes," depending on one's perspective and insight into each case.
The first controversy is the exchange of the "Taliban Five" for Army deserter PFC Bowe Bergdahl, which I covered Monday. The second controversy is the hero's platform that NBC granted to NSA deserter Edward Snowden.
