TRAGIC LOSS OF 12 US TROOPS IN AFGHANISTAN

With great sadness and sympathy in our hearts today, we must report a tragedy for the American people, after a suicide bombing in Afghanistan took the lives of 17 brave coalition members, 12 of them Americans.

"A Taliban suicide bomber rammed a vehicle into an armored NATO bus Saturday, killing 17 people, including 12 Americans and a Canadian in the deadliest attack on the U.S.-led coalition in Kabul since the war began."

This tragic loss of life is a reminder that these troops put themselves in a great deal of danger because they are willing to sacrifice ANYTHING to serve the country that they love so much.
