Abortion Clinic Nurse Pushes Woman to ER in Wheelchair   The misnamed Hope Clinic for Women, located at 1602 21st Street in Granite City, Illinois, is notorious for its life-threatening medical emergencies. The abortion business is located across the street from Gateway Regional Medical Center, a 305-bed hospital originally founded just over a century ago as a private Catholic hospital.  Most of Hope Clinic’s botched abortion patients completely bypass this facility and are transported by ambulance across the state line to St. Louis, Missouri, where they are treated at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, a Level One Trauma Center. Since January 2022, Operation Rescue has documented seven potentially life-threatening emergencies at this dangerous abortion clinic that kills babies up to 24 weeks gestation. On February 4, 2023 employees of the facility were observed by Operation Rescue’s sidewalk advocate associates wheeling a woman through the parking lot and across the street to the emergency room at Gateway Regional Medical Center.

ICYMI: Planned Parenthood Chapel Hill Continues to Injure Women and Downplay Life-Threatening Emergencies  Another woman required emergency transport due to hemorrhaging at a Planned Parenthood located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Sidewalk advocates contacted Operation Rescue and CEC For Life after witnessing an ambulance leaving the facility on Saturday, January 28, with no lights or sirens.  A public records request for the 911 call revealed the patient was a 24-year-old woman with significant bleeding and severe pain. (To protect identities, voices on the 911 recording were altered by a city records custodian, and information was redacted throughout the recording.)  A non-medical staff member seems to have made the initial 911 call. When the 911 operator asked if the bleeding was significant, the staff member faltered, was unable to answer, and had to get a nurse. ...
