Vote scheduled for TODAY on the radical gay marriage bill that will result in an attack on religious freedom! The "Respect for Marriage Act" will undergo a final vote in the Senate this afternoon. Your action is needed to speak out against this radical bill. There are 12 members of the GOP who have publicly given their support to this bill--a bill that is truly anti-traditional marriage and anti-religious freedom. We encourage you to call these members of Senate and let them know as a person of faith your concerns about this dangerous legislation. This is not an overstatement. Practically, this would mean that people of faith would be forced to act against their conscience and would put sexual choices on par with civil rights. It could bring penalties and prosecution against those who would exercise religious freedom, speaking in favor of the biblical view on marriage. An amendment proposed by Senator Mike Lee of Utah is a way to protect religious freedom for businesses, non-profits, and other organizations who believe in traditional marriage.
