Kat Hawkins via P McMillan submits:
Railway Strike May Cause Poop Back Up for NYC....EVERYONE should be prepared
Even if the grid shuts down.....what do you think the water treatment plants work off of????? Yes electricity! If you are on a bunch of land then no worries, you can bury it....if you have a generator, no worries. Much to think of huh!? Course for us old people that can't squat anymore, well, you know what you need to have, lol.......I know I know, not fun to think of but ya need to plan, never know. Kat
Plan B......... if you aren't near enough to DRIVE YOUR EXCREMENT TO HOCHUL's DOORSTEP ---
or the crooked NY Sec-of-State for Election Mismanagement..
Get yourself a decent campstool [which you should have for emergency anyway]..
the best I've seen is a WALMART Reliance Hassock https://www.walmart.
com/ip/Reliance-Hassock- Portable-Toilet/ ... suit yourselves.. one per person AND
ENOUGH BUCKETS for storage as needed, PLUS kitchen waste bags
AND a multi-pound PKG of FINE WOOD SHAVINGs [animal bedding at tractor supply]
or LOTS of newsprint paper to crush up as needed if tractor supply isn't reachable...
Figure carefully... each time you start a bucket operation, the bucket should be lined with a cinchable kitchen waste bag and have a layer of shavings/paper in the bag
One hassock per person, kept near their bed for safety and comfort and privacy...
If you have a BEDPAN --use that for URINE ONLY and it's safe to empty that into your usual flusher or even the bath tub etc.. it's sterile..
Such a bucket can usually keep one person's DEPOSITS safely, odor free [thoroughly COVER YOUR STUFF LIKE DECENT CATS]
for almost 10days.. then cinch the bag up and heft it into a storage bucket WITH LID -- easily available at places like HomeDepot..
like the Swedes do with their EcoVita urine separating composting toilets... stash the buckets til spring......
[[top of the line is the Separett Villa... https://www.
ecovita.net/villa.html
The big couple cubic ft pkg of shavings will last for 3 people's buckets for a few months.. you'll need an empty cardboard box for each bucket-user's handy supply of shavings... use the rest as mulch when the strike and flusher-HEALTH-STUPIDITY is over...
how long is this scenario going to last??
Maybe someplace in UPSTATE NY could use TONS of COMPOSTables for their thermophilic BIOBINS OPERATION......
if you think human sanitation is ''crude'', you got a healthdept-induced mental problem..........TTYL
