Residents living in Eagle Pass, Texas, are stunned to learn that one of their protectors took his own life while patrolling the southern border. The Texas National Guardsman was found dead from what appeared to be a gunshot wound that he inflicted on himself.
The Texas National Guard is on active duty patrolling the southern border because of President Joe Biden’s mess. The old man’s open border policies have led to countless people trying to make a desperate crossing of the border in areas that are not safe. And as a result, soldiers find dead bodies, including children, scattered throughout the area.
The constant horrors that the southern border agents and Texas National Guard are surrounded by are enough to cause anyone to think about taking their own life to end the pain and mental anguish they are subjected to every day.
Suicide may seem like a way out, but it only creates pain and suffering for those left behind. Joe Biden needs to be held accountable for the neglect and suffering he is putting soldiers tasked with protecting a country that a socialist president has long forgotten about.
Operation Lone Star is the official name of the military action unfolding along the Texas border with Mexico. Governor Greg Abbott had to mobilize the state’s National Guard to protect the people living along the border.
The sad reality is that the soldier did not have to die. President Biden should have been doing his job and keeping people safe by enforcing immigration laws. But he continues to neglect Americans and purposely favors the illegal seeking to harm legal citizens.
Breitbart News reported that Governor Abbott said, “Cecilia and I are deeply saddened to hear of the tragic loss of a soldier with the Texas National Guard. Our hearts go out to the family and loved ones of the soldier. Texas Rangers are leading the investigation, as the Texas National Guard and Texas Department of Public Safety coordinate with local law enforcement.”
Biden’s negligent duty led to the death of the unnamed soldier. He has forgotten what it means to be an American and protect the ones with whom he should identify and stand. The enemy of America sits in the White House.
Abbott also stated, “I ask all Texans to join Cecilia and me in praying for the soldier’s family during this heartbreaking time. And for any Texan who is in crisis, we urge you to seek help immediately from a family member, loved one, or mental health service.”
The death of the soldier is a shock to everyone. It is also a reminder that the people protecting freedom and trying to keep America great need the help and support of every person around them.
The Democrats have turned their backs on the country and will never reach out to law enforcement or military members to determine ways that would make their lives better at doing their jobs. All Biden and the rest of his gang care about is power and what they can do to set themselves up in positions of authority over people.
America’s sellout president has failed the people and is not worthy to serve in the capacity of the president. His future should be an existence behind bars surrounded by concrete.
Last April, the first Guardsman died trying to rescue migrants that appeared to be drowning. Specialist Bishop Evans dove into the Rio Grande and swam out to find that the people in question were members of a drug cartel trying to get their pills to shore.
The Texas National Guard’s spirit is seen in how Evans served. Breitbart News reported that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy told the guardsman’s grandmother, “Your grandson did not die in vain. He was a National Guard Specialist. He was a human being. He risked his own life for someone he did not know because he could not watch that person drown.”
But for those soldiers fighting the horrors they see every day, help is available. Breitbart reported that Abbott wants all those serving at the border to know that there is help and support for them. They do not protect and serve alone.
