Large Fire at Minnesota Commercial Egg Farm Likely Killed Thousands of Chickens
An enormous late-night blaze at a commercial egg farm likely left thousands of chickens dead Saturday night near Cokato, Minnesota.
Fire crews responded to a call shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday night for the incident at a Forsman Farms facility in Stockholm Township, Minnesota.
Crews found heavy fire coming from a barn housing chickens and manure.
The main building involved in the fire was significantly damaged and there was light damage to a neighboring building, deputies say.
Video footage posted online shows shows massive flames shooting from the building late Saturday night.
The Wright County Sheriff’s Office estimated that there were likely 200,000 chickens in the barn when the fire broke out.
Fox 9 reported:
It’s unclear exactly how many chickens were killed in the fire but the Wright County Sheriff’s Office says there were estimates of 200,000 chickens inside the building when the fire broke out. However, deputies couldn’t say how many of those chickens perished in the fire.
The investigation into the fire is ongoing, but deputies say there doesn’t appear to be any criminal activity involved in the blaze.
Forsman Farms’ website shows it specializes in egg production, selling 3 million eggs per day. However, Forsman Farms has at least one other facility further east in Howard Lake.
In a statement to FOX 9, a company spokesperson writes:
“Overnight, a fire destroyed one of our barns at our Howard Lake farm. No one was injured and we are grateful that first responders were quickly on scene to put out the fire. Unfortunately, chickens were lost because of the fire. We are evaluating the extent of the damage – which appears to be confined to a single structure – as well as investigating the cause of the fire.”
I may be wrong, but there is just no way this is all a coincidence…
There is an engineered collapse of America, and it is manifesting in every single crisis we are seeing unfold in the country. Soaring inflation, international tensions, and the push for a 3rd world war are just some of the features of the collapse.
And now we have incoming food shortages. We have been bringing you reports of over 20 food distribution centers or processing plants which have been destroyed or seen significant damage in a very short amount of time.
The latest food plant experiencing these issues is Rembrandt Enterprises, owned by the tech billionaire Glen Taylor, the plant recently killed over 5 million chickens and fired most of the staff in response to an alleged avian flu outbreak.
Taylor also owns the Minnesota Timberwolves, and animal rights protestors recently staged acts of protest against him at a Timberwolves game several days ago.
Here’s what we currently know:
The Guardian had more on the story:

Overnight, the factory had begun slaughtering more than 5 million chickens using a gruesome killing method after detecting a single case of avian influenza.
Even supervisors were assigned to the arduous task of dragging dead hens out of packed cages as Rembrandt Enterprises raced to contain the spread of the virus amid the largest bird flu outbreak in the US in seven years.
The culling has been repeated at chicken and turkey farms across Iowa and 28 other states from Maine to Utah.
More than 22 million birds have been killed in an attempt to contain the outbreak – the majority in Iowa, the US’s biggest producer of eggs. The slaughter of 5.3 million hens at Rembrandt is the largest culling at any factory farm in the country.
