Jackson SCOTUS Nomination “Discharged” from Deadlocked Committee; Now Headed to Full Vote This Week

Washington, DC – Yesterday, the Senate Judiciary Committee deadlocked 11-11 on sending the nomination of Ketanji Brown Jackson to the full Senate for a confirmation vote. To save the nomination, Senate Democrats called for a vote to “discharge” the matter from the committee so the full Senate could vote on her confirmation later this week.
