Dear Conservatives
I know all eyes are on the Supreme Court as they decide the fate of Roe v. Wade, but I wanted to share an update on other fights Students for Life Action is engaging in across the nation right now.As you'll see below, I've listed out several states we've been fighting in to protect preborn lives with strong pro-life legislation WITH TEETH.
Sadly, often the biggest obstacles to passing pro-life bills doesn't come from unashamedly pro-abortion politicians, but rather self-proclaimed "pro-life" Republicans who'd rather buddy up to the Abortion Lobby than lift a finger to save innocent babies from abortion.
In the face of this betrayal by people who should be on our side, it’s up to you and me to put these wolves in sheep’s clothing on notice.
And with early voters heading to the polls in many state primaries for the critical November midterms, it’s the perfect opportunity to expose their pro-abortion records to voters before they head to the polls.
That’s why I need your help.
After you read through the list of some of the battles we’ve taken on and are still fighting, please prayerfully consider fighting back against backstabbing “pro-life” politicians with a generous contribution to our 2022 Pro-Life Accountability Election Programs.
The good news is, thanks to a few generous supporters, if you give by the March 31st End of Quarter deadline, every dollar you give will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000!
Students for Life Action state legislative update:
>>> Wyoming: Despite boasting a 51-9 Republican supermajority in the state’s House of Representatives, Wyoming House Speaker Eric Barlow (R) killed our bill to end Chemical Abortion in the state.
SFLAction will be exposing the Speaker and his gaggle of allies who kowtow to the Abortion Lobby.
>>> Alabama: Students for Life Action has held two lobby days in support of State Representative Andrew Sorrell’s (R) Chemical Abortion Ban, HB 261.
Although Alabama is a state with a 75-30 Republican majority, establishment politicians are stalling our bill in hopes of “running out the clock” of the legislative session.
>>> Oklahoma: Where SFLAction is rallying pro-lifers to tell their representatives to vote for pro-life champion State Senator Nathan Dahm’s (R) Life at Conception Act, SB 612.
There’s only one vote left before the legislation gets sent to the Governor’s desk.
>>> Idaho: In 2021, Students for Life Action mobilized our students to join the effort to successfully pass a Heartbeat Bill.
This year, Idaho has become the first state to send a Texas-style Heartbeat Bill to the Governor’s mansion.

There are so many more battles our team is facing in states across the nation.
And with self-proclaimed “pro-life” politicians trying to stop us at every turn, you and I have to EXPOSE their records to their pro-life constituents before the critical primary elections.
With everything on the line for the pro-life movement this year with the Supreme Court deciding the fate of Roe v. Wade this June, we can’t afford to let backstabbing “pro-life” politicians stop any of our momentum.
So, we have to do more than ever before.
If you’re able, please prayerfully consider chipping in $100, $50, $25, or whatever’s on your heart to help us EXPOSE supposed “pro-life” politicians with our 2022 Pro-Life Accountability Election Programs.
Remember, every dollar you can give by the 11:59PM End of Quarter deadline will be matched, dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000!
For Life,
Kristan Hawkins
President, Students for Life Action
P.S.- As I mentioned, we held two lobby days in support of Alabama’s Chemical Abortion Ban – delivering petitions to targeted legislators and urging them to move this bill forward. Below are a few pics of our staff and students!
