Where I live in NC, nearly all crimes are committed by blacks and Latinos.
What follows is the recent local arrest "blotter" and you will note that each person's
name comes with a 3 letter "description." For example, "B/M/22" signifies "black make 22 yo" Likewise, "W/F/33" represents "White female 33 yo"
As you look at this list below - the full list is at: Wake County Sheriff's Office P2C (wakeso.net) -
......you will see that when a Latino is arrested, they are described as "W" for "White."
But they are only classed as white when it is used to describe perps. On the other hand, their victims are described as "Latino." Do you see what is being done here to deceive you? Latino perps are being called "white," while Latino crime victims are called "Latino."
This has several advantages for progressives:
1) By deliberately conflating white crimes rates via classing Latino perps as "white"
it makes it appear that 'whites' are preying on 'Lations' [this is rarely, in reality, the case]
2) This is being done to reduce the enormous discrepancy between white and black crime rates. We have a huge problem with black crimes in this country that no one dares talk
about.
3) For progressives, it also has the secondary benefit of obscuring the tremendous crime level of illegal aliens now roaming the country and committing crimes.
It is bad enough to have a dishonest media, with their unchecked lies, but to realize that same thing is happening with statistics put out by our own government, be they about Covid, or the climate, or as in this case, crime
.........is truly disturbing and dangerous if this nation is to survive much longer.
