Dear Friend, We have a lot to be thankful for in Florida’s Second Congressional District. Here are a few good news stories sure to brighten your week -- | The crew of Inspiration4, the first SpaceX mission to entirely include non-professional astronauts, completed a three-day trip in Earth orbit this past week. Jared Isaacman, who also funded the trip, designed the mission as a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This is a major milestone for the space industry and the team managed to do it while supporting a great cause. Read more about the mission here. | Panama City Beach’s Beauty the black lab battled an alligator and risked her life to save her long-time duck pals Cress, Downey, and Dot. Beauty underwent surgery for a broken femur over the weekend. The vet expects a full recovery in six to eight weeks. And if things go as planned, Beauty will be reunited with her duck buddies sometime next week. Good job, Beauty! Wishing you a speedy recovery. The season premiere aired last Sunday and new episodes will air on Sundays at 9 pm EST. It’s the fourth time Strickland has appeared on one of Food Network’s baking shows. She also competed on the Halloween Baking Championship, the Holiday Baking Championship, and the Holiday Wars. I’m looking forward to cheering her on!
