Dear Friend, There is a lot going on right now that has many of us, myself included, feeling weighed down and weary. Here are a few good news stories to help lift your spirits and get you through the week -- | Vietnam War veteran Bill Locke and his wife Martha had been living in their Panama City home for 30 years until Hurricane Michael caused severe damage. They have been living in a camper on the property since. Operation Blessing became aware of this situation and rebuilt the home. Now, after three years, the Lockes can finally return home. Sammy Mills, from the Chiefland FFA Chapter, is a national finalist in Forest Management. Four others earned Silver awards: Emilee Munden, Bronson FFA, Agricultural Sales; Victoria "Tori" Mills, Williston FFA, Agricultural Services; Kade Meeks, Chiefland FFA Chapter, Diversified Crop;Hunter Sharp, Chiefland FFA Chapter, Equine Science. Cheyenne is non-verbal and was diagnosed with autism at the age of three, but that hasn’t stopped her from pursuing what she loves to do.
