Dear Moral Outcry Signers, Operation Outcry and Friends of The Justice Foundation,
The U.S. Supreme Court has extended the deadline by 21 days for the filing of briefs in the Mississippi ban on late term abortion case. The Brief of The Moral Outcry Petition and Operation Outcry Women Injured by Late Term Abortion is now due on July 29.
Deadline For Signatures Extended
As a result, we are extending the deadline to July 4th for getting more signatures on the petition in time for the filing of the Brief in the Mississippi case with all the names in it through July 4. Let the 4th of July be a significant milestone in ending abortion in America! If you have already signed The Moral Outcry Petition, then of course, your name will be in this Brief. We will have over 500,000 Signers on the Brief, whereas the last Brief in the Mississippi case at the cert. phase (asking the Court to take the case - which they have now done) only had 336,214 Signers. This is an amazing, significant, jump. This will be the largest united effort in American history to declare "Abortion is a Crime Against Humanity."
THIS IS A CRITICAL CASE FOR THE
FUTURE OF ABORTION IN AMERICA
Because of the question that the Supreme Court agreed to consider, “Whether all pre-viability prohibitions on elective abortions are unconstitutional?” This case sets up a potential ban on all abortions. Specifically, it could open the door for the Arkansas ban on abortion which is based on the legal reasons why all the Court's abortion cases should be reversed in The Moral Outcry Petition.
The Court does not have to completely reverse Roe v. Wade to allow this law banning late-term abortion to go into effect. However, even allowing that much is a major step forward. They could reverse Roe completely, or we may be required to take back the territory - our country - step by step, city by city, state by state. Dozens of states are passing laws such as Heartbeat bills and others. In every case, as lead attorneys for The Moral Outcry Petition, we will be representing Melinda Thybault, Founder, acting on your behalf at the Supreme Court.

THE DEFENSE OF THE ARKANSAS TMO TOTAL BAN ON
ABORTION IS BEGINNING
The ACLU has sued Arkansas for its complete ban on abortion (except to save the life of a mother) based on The Moral Outcry reasons. That law was signed by the Governor on March 9, 2021. Click here to see ACLU's complaint to stop the law from going into effect on July 28. We are cooperating with those in Arkansas to help prepare the defense of that lawsuit which is a direct and total assault on Roe v. Wade. This will require a significant investment on our part, even beyond the cost of doing Amicus Curiae briefs at the Supreme Court in the Mississippi case.
