And these fools don’t even know that General Forrest rode with every county sheriff in TN to disband the KKK. What an absolutely horrible tragedy to an American veteran of such great fame.
His tactics were once taught at West Point, and Rommel studied him.
The democrat people doing this are evil, from the very pit of hell and they’ll one day pay dearly. I would just like to see justice done now.
I agree, anger, disappointment and yes, HATRED for the evil they all represent.
The so called “slaves” Nathan Forrest had...were actually servants.
He treated them well...and when he went off to war, he told them they were free, or they could go with him and most of them did, and they even guarded him.
There are pictures of black men surrounding and guarding him.
And Nathan was taken to task for kissing a black woman on the cheek on a stage...he was a man who knew they were people just like us...that’s the real truth if anyone bothers to dig into factual history.
