On May 26, Governor Larry Hogan vetoed two pieces of pro-illegal alien legislation passed by the lawless, open border types in Annapolis:
House Bill 16 - Sanctuary State Legislation that would impede local law enforcement's ability to cooperate with federal law enforcement.

Basically, it was a bill to turn our entire state into a near Sanctuary for the growing illegal alien population. It effectively made federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) the "criminals" while making illegal aliens, including MS-13 gang members, near equals to citizens. If an illegal was arrested by ICE, the feds would have to lock up the criminal in another state as Maryland detention facilities would be off limits. Slowly grinding away the rule of law. This bill was sponsored by a liberal first termer.

Will Smith, a former Obama flunky at Homeland Security, added an amendment to prevent future ICE 287g contracts in the state. Contracts that currently work successfully in a number of Maryland counties (Frederick, Cecil and Harford) by allowing ICE to remove already wanted illegal alien criminals from our jail populations. Smith clearly does not want justice served for criminal illegal aliens. His bio says he served in the military in an "intelligence capacity" in Afghanistan. I can only imagine the "intelligence" he provided our brave warfighters while engaged with Taliban terrorists.
Keep in mind that while Help Save Maryland and a small number of other pro-legal immigration groups/individuals testified against HB16, there were over 35 groups testifying in support of illegal aliens ranging from the ACLU, Casa of Maryland, Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), Service Employees International Union (SEIU), NAACP-Maryland, Jews United for Justice, Jewish Community Relations Council (I will never understand Jewish support for criminal aliens), Maryland Catholic Conference, and some groups not on my radar screen like Baltimore Asian Resistance in Solidarity, Greenbelt People Power, Showing Up for Racial Justice, Political Latinx United Movement, and Doctors for Camp Disclosures. Be assured all these creeps and crazies will be pushing the Maryland Legislature, which already has a super Dem majority, to override Hogan's veto of HB 16 in 2022.
Sidebar - Bend the Arc, yet another Jewish illegal alien supporting organization, recently organized a group letter to Joe Biden demanding that a "pathway to citizenship" be given to the millions of illegal aliens hanging out in our country (and more coming daily). Turns out according to these Bent Arc zealots and other Jewish groups that I mostly never knew existed (Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society and the Anti-Defamation League aside), that illegals Need our Help from the "deep racial and economic inequities" caused by the Wuhan Corona Virus. Who knew?
It was further pointed out in the letter to Joe that these illegals were "Essential Workers" during the Wuhan Corona Virus crisis. Yikes, illegals are not allowed to work. But fear not, these Jewish groups (seems like there are more Jewish groups then Jews in the U.S.) believe that these illegals are going to pull us out of economic hardship because they "increase wages and productivity, create jobs, generate tax revenue and lift families out of poverty." Even Karl Marx would not buy this shoddy economic analysis!
And, for the first time ever, these unhelpful Jewish organizations now state that "undocumented Jews working in essential industries like healthcare fear that their ability to continue aiding and caring in this challenging time might be cut short". Sure all six illegal alien Jews in the country!
These Jewish groups are "Meshuggah" (Yiddish for crazy). They want to give near 25 million illegals, a pathway to citizenship. That alone is more than the Jewish population in the U.S. I'm not interested in having my vote further watered down by border jumpers and their ilk. Who actually believes illegal aliens "are vital to the fabric of the nation"??

The second immigration bill passed by Annapolis but vetoed by Hogan, HB 23, would deny inspection of the Maryland Drivers' License database by a federal agency seeking access for certain immigration enforcement matters of a public record that contains personal information or certain photographic images.

So in this bill illegal aliens, whom we somehow years ago decided deserve drivers' licenses to drive to work (illegal act) or drive their illegal alien or anchor baby kids to school, would be protected from federal review of their records and photographs. Again, why are we treating these border jumpers better than citizens?

Citizens will find out in January 2022, when the new Annapolis legislative session starts, if these bills will be brought up again for possible veto overrides. Or will the legislators back down letting the vetoes stand as its an election year and the entire legislature is up for election in November 2022. Elected officials historically would never want citizens to know what dangerous and costly legislation they passed against the will of Marylanders.

The Cicadas Are Subsiding, But Not So The Illegal Alien "Minors" Pouring Into Montgomery County.
Why is it that our elected officials in Montgomery County, members of the County Board of Education, illegal alien support groups, county funded radio shows and others are up to speed on the inflow of illegal aliens under the new Biden Open Borders Policies, but Citizens are left in the dark? It is only after our schools become even more overcrowded with ESOL and free meal students, MS-13 gang violence, car jackings, rapes and other crimes skyrocket, public services are drained and our taxes inch ever so much higher that we receive some notification on the ongoing "invasion" plan. Forget about having a debate on the topic.

Gabe and the MCPS types are great at explaining how they are going to spend our tax dollars for the new uninvited guests to help them adapt to their "new home". The other speakers provided the sob story on how tough a time these youths had getting to Maryland, again with our tax dollars and with help from national and local illegal alien support groups. The host for this circus was Lillian Mass, a former Univision reporter and illegal alien sympathizer. It was a perfect propaganda event with no dissenting voices.

Supreme Court Suddenly Sees The Light On Illegal Immigration - 3 Important Decisions
While the nation is facing a 10- year high in illegal crossings, the Supreme Court has ruled on a number of important cases which will help on the margins to remove and/or deny a pathway to citizenship for border jumpers and the like:
-The Supreme Court ruled against a criminal illegal alien, previously convicted of felony DUI and deported, seeking to avoid deportation after illegally re-entering the U.S. Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor wrote in a 9-0 decision that the “Ninth Circuit’s interpretation is incompatible” with federal statute, ruling against Palomar-Santiago.
-The Supreme Court ruled in a unanimous decision that illegal immigrants living in the U.S. under the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) program are ineligible to apply to become permanent residents. Justice Elena Kagan wrote for the court that federal immigration law prohibits TPS recipients from seeking green cards if they entered the country illegally. The justices noted that federal law requires immigrants to have been “inspected and admitted or paroled” in the U.S. prior to seeking permanent residency.
-In unanimously ruling against a Chinese asylum claimant, the Supreme Court reversed the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, finding that immigration judges don’t have to explicitly state that an asylum seeker’s story isn’t credible when finding against him.

What You Can Do? Report to Help Save Maryland (HSM)
Keep tabs on recent arrivals of illegal aliens to your community. Report to HSM the numbers of arrivals, location, group(s) supporting the housing of illegals.
Report increased numbers of students being entered into the Maryland Public School System who require ESOL and other non-citizen needed support programs (linguistic experts, tutors, psychological counseling, vaccinations, etc.). Also report if any current programs and services in the schools are being cut to free up resources for the incoming illegals.
Detail any MS-13 and other Hispanic gang activities and violence impacting your neighborhood. With more foot soldiers arriving daily, local gang leaders need to keep them busy.
