WEEKLY UPDATE Dear Friends, On Wednesday, I spoke to the Pages & Messengers which are high school and middle school students who come work at the Capitol with us for the week. It was great to have my nephew, Ricky Harding serve as a Messenger this week at the Florida House of Representatives. This is a great opportunity for the next generation to be involved in local politics and learn about the legislative process. This week I spoke in support of CS/HB 1475 which is the Sex-specific Student Athletic Teams or Sports bill that was presented on the House floor by Representative Kaylee Tuck. You can watch the video of me presenting on this bill here, I begin speaking at 2:15:59

On Thursday, I passed HB 1213 – Homosassa Special Water District, Citrus County on the House floor with 118 yeas and 0 nays.
