The president has long been referred to as a "gaffe-machine." What did shock us was how early this happened in the press event. Mr. Biden was barely a quarter of the way through the 62-minute presser when he appeared to lose the connection between his brain and mouth. The First take: Did you hear any MSM reporting on the black man wearing body armor taken into custody while carrying six guns inside a supermarket in Atlanta? It's doubtful. Apparently the man was not breaking any Georgia law. Body armor and open carry of firearms are legal in the state. Currently the man is undergoing a psychological evaluation and may be released if he is deemed to be "normal." Airline pilot caught on "hot mic" trashing San Fran area citizens Headline: "F**king Weirdos": Southwest Pilot Caught On Hot Mic In Expletive-Filled Rant About Bay Area The First take: The FAA is investigating and Southwest Airlines is doing some serious damage control after a recording of a Southwest pilot repeatedly dropping f-bombs targeting liberals of the San Francisco Bay Area has gone viral. The invective-laced, insulting conversation reportedly happened as the plane was taxiing down the runway. Therein lies the problem. FAA regulations prohibit talking about anything other than safety while taking off and landing and flying below 10,000 feet. Does that mean the salty language would be OK if the plane were cruising at altitude? You can hear the conversation in the story.
