Biden to televise victory lap speech tonight Headline: Biden seeks his moment with pandemic address  The First take: President Biden will address the nation tonight at 8pm ET. The focus of his speech is expected to be the passing of the massive $1.9 T COVID relief bill (aka "The American Rescue Plan"). Biden, as any president would, will likely take credit for the passage of the bill while completely glossing over the fact not a single Republican voted for it in either the House or the Senate. Not exactly the definition of "unity," Mr. President. Also, we're eager to see how he lucid he appears during the speech.
