I’m sorry to hear that what with your uncle being killed in France (19 years old) during WW II as well.
Here is yet another occurrence in a LONGGGGG list of occurrences where our Troops were put in harm’s way being tested like Lab Rats in Battle when the Politicians were NEVER committed to winning while they sat comfortably in their Leather Chairs far from the War they STARTED deliberately.
McNamara REVEALED much after he left office and we were to find out AFTERWARDS that NEITHER of those Two U.S. Destroyers (Maddox & Turner) were ever fired upon in the Gulf of Tonkin that LBJ claimed happened… but that was the EXCUSE to launch that War despite the lessons we should have learned from the French & British Failures throughout Siam before it was cut up into Laos, Cambodia, North & South VietNam.
THEY KNEW what would ultimately surface years later that they would likewise DENY regarding the impact & effect of Agent Orange as did Dow Chemical know as well.
A chemical that could defoliate a jungle but NOT have any consequence on the body whose porous skin at 110 degrees in the shade was pumping this shit from 50 gallon drums into the tankers beneath the planes?
The BASTARDS KNEW and even when they ‘settled’ YEARS AFTERWARDS IN COURT they settled WITHOUT ACCEPTING ANY BLAME for what they did to our Troops so they could get away with the MURDER associated with their KNOWN ACTIONS!
I too lost my cousin a couple of years ago from Agent Orange.
He suffered like a dog as it ultimately mutated, suffocating his lungs and finally killing him.
I consider myself as being tough but when TAPS was played….. well I just lost it!
He was a gunner on the Naval Patrol Boats on the Mekong River.
The Gooks, using that term today would qualify me for being a card carrying racist but it didn’t matter a hill a bit of beans when Washington’s ass was on the line, would swim out with charges wrapped around them trying to affix them to the ships and he machined gun them in the water.
They, THE ENEMY, were a committed lot unlike Washington where that War was lost IN THOSE Halls before it ever began that have now been cordoned off by a Wall from the People they swore an oath to serve- HA!
Korea was the beginning of the Bull-Shit as to how Washington would ‘handle’ things moving forward…..at OUR expense.
We went in with two hands tied behind our backs allowing the UN to dictate terms whereas VietNam, Washington only tied one hand behind our backs but the negative end was predictable in both cases.
And just like Korea where MacArthur wanted to hit the Chinese who crossed the Yalu and killed many of our Marines, Truman prevented that;
And in Nam we couldn’t fly above the DMZ and hit North VietNam and blow the hell outa Haiphong Harbor that would have had devastating effects on them because Washington’s cowards didn’t want to incur the wrath of the RED CHINESE.
In this case we had a RepubliCON- NIXON!
Who ever fights a War with conditions attached?
Only the IDIOT Constables of Deceit & Corruption in Washington- that’s who!!!

Can YOU imagine if we were to have fought the British with such constraints placed around us during the Revolution?

Members and DEAR friends of mine came home shot to shit with arms , legs & eyes lost.
During Nam I visited my best man at Walson Army Hospital at FT. Dix, New Jersey.
The wards were loaded as the Chinook Choppers were unloading the wounded in the parking lots having been flown in from the hospital ships off shore.
This country today couldn’t stomach what we saw.
Liters of men attached to streams of blood and glucose IV's with the OR’s running 24-7 and YET … they ALL kept their wits about them as guys in service always do.
They would take an amputee in his bed and fold it up to his chest and the upper part down to his waste wherein he looked like a Burrito….
Some will think that was cruel but it was a way in which EACH SOLDIER there could cope with the consequences helping them to understand that they still had their BROTHERS with them and that such actions were more than OK!!!
My Best Man got his left hand shot off but he was philosophical about it- he dodged to his right with his arms hailing left when the gook let out a burst that tore his hand off whereas if he had dodged to the left he would have gotten a full chest burst and been killed.
His Corporal behind him eliminated the gook.
You would NOT believe the pictures he took during that time.
Soldiers don’t share things like that except with others who understand and who wore the uniform.
They wouldn’t give the FOOL’S in Washington the right time because they do NOT DESERVE to be shown these things because they haven’t EARNED THE RIGHT.
Anyone who served understands what I am saying!
This country today CAN’T deal with anything like this because the Bastards in Washington have filled the American Electorate with Fairy Tales and as far as the kids are concerned, why if they can’t deal with REALITY in college, like when Hillary Lost, they get coloring books and hot cocoa to comfort them in their moment of… ‘anguish’.

I’ll never forget my first day in the Army.
I had a Black E-8 sergeant screaming in my face advising me in NO UNCERTAIN terms that he was the Lawnmower and my Ass was his Grass.
This was part of the toughening up process because ultimately, these men wanted us to be prepared so we might survive despite Washington’s failures to screw things up to the best of their ability.
Think that Black E-8 sergeant would TOLERATE ANTIFA or BLM today?
The Hell he would!!!
What Washington needs is that same Black E-8 sergeant TRAINING THEM for if they were ever in, things just might be different today but it is Far Easier for THEM to send others off to one of their Un-Winnable Wars while they sell America out & fill their sorry pockets with wads of ca$$h when it took President Trump to get us some attention at the VA.
Just how F _ _ K _ D up is that?

Craig, you are so right. It’s so overwhelming what’s being done and has already been done. I cannot believe that this crap is allowed to go on and get even worse. Evil and deranged is right!!! So many people today are still sleep walking and have no idea what’s going on. Very upsetting.
Oh and I’d forgotten to mention that my stepbrother died not all that many years ago from the effects of Agent Orange. It’s a world gone mad today.
