House Republicans Seek to Remove Ilhan Omar From Committee Assignments
House Democrats are looking to expel Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a feat they’re unlikely to succeed in. Even despite the Democrat majority in the House, they would still need about 70 Republican votes to expel her because it requires a two-thirds majority.
Former President Donald Trump responded to the Democrats’ impeachment 2.0 efforts, making the case that it’s an unconstitutional impeachment now that he’s no longer in office.
