MARYLAND - UNDER THE ATTACK OF WAYWARD POLITICIANS!!!

Help Save Maryland - They Just Can't Stop Abusing Our Rights and Tax Dollars

They Just Can't Stop Abusing Our Rights and Tax Dollars

It's bad enough in normal times when our Montgomery, PG and Baltimore City elected officials aid and abet the ever growing population of illegal aliens in our communities.  You know the drill - these "hard-working, family-oriented" but clearly uninvited guests are openly provided with welfare, food stamps, medical (including prenatal care for their anchor babies) and dental services, housing, energy and legal assistance, lax law enforcement and prosecution, in-state college tuition, drivers' licenses, and of course free K-12 education (often in Spanish) to name a few goodies.

Our wayward politicians, with help from CASA of Maryland and other local groups, have done such a great job that our Public School System is bursting at the seams.  We are now being forced to spend billions more annually under the Kirwan Commission Plan passed by Annapolis (pray Hogan's veto stands!) to build even more schools, pay already highly paid teachers more, and further add more administrative bodies to the bloated Public School System bureaucracy. And those billions may still not be enough as there are legions of Hispanic and other immigrant children in the pipeline ready to advance through the Public School System.

One may ask for example why is there a growing low income, uneducated and often non- English speaking population moving into Montgomery County, when Montgomery is one of the most expensive jurisdictions in the country to live in?  Could it be all the targeted healthcare and other freebies for non-citizens handed out like candy?

Is it the lack of law and labor enforcement combined with non-cooperation with Federal ICE that makes those with no moral or legal right to be here feel comfortable, warm and safe from near automatic deportation?  There is no need for illegals to hide in the shadows in Montgomery County, Prince George's and Baltimore City.

Since our leaders can't handle the self-inflicted onslaught of poorly educated and healthcare deficient "immigrant" students that they enticed to Maryland, Montgomery officials are forcing even more of a burden on the remaining citizen taxpayers.

Under the guise of "spreading diversity and to eliminate concentrations of poverty", a massive busing and revised school boundary lines plan is now in the works by County officials. Ultimately this will spread the wealth of illegal immigration to all corners of the County.  Frankly, why would I want to bus my children to elementary schools in Montgomery such as Viers Mill (64%), Summit Hall (72%), New Hampshire Estates (71%), Rolling Terrace (71%) and others that have huge percentages of Hispanic immigrants and little if any English spoken in them.  Why should my children be held back from learning in an environment not catering to their particular needs?   Again, bad decisions on illegal immigration and sanctuary status by our elected officials causes more and more quality of life problems for County citizens.

NOTE: There are elections coming up for the County Public School Board (nonpartisan) next month. Do the research and vote for the candidate who will protect and enhance neighborhood schools, boundary lines and put an end to this limitless tax drain and lawlessness.

Wuhan Coronavirus and Illegals Suffering Economic Harm in MoCo

Just when you thought there were no more free goodies our elected officials could give to the illegal immigrants entrenched in our neighborhoods, the Montgomery County Council and County Executive proved us wrong!

Clearly unhappy that their illegal alien compadres are not eligible to receive the generous Wuhan coronavirus assistance checks, let alone unemployment checks, from the federal and state government, Montgomery officials closed their eyes and dug deep into our tax revenue accounts.

These enlightened officials created the Emergency Assistance Relief Payment program or EARP.  Its sole purpose is to give illegal alien families benefit checks during the coronavirus economic downturn because they are suffering.  No joke.

-Maximum $1,450 per family, with no need to pay it back because its "an investment in the families and communities of Montgomery County"!

-Even better, families who receive EARP will not owe taxes on the money "because it is not considered income".

-Best of all, as it will not affect your family income, it will therefore "not affect your family's eligibility for other federal government assistance or benefits programs!"  Praise the lord!  Just another brilliant but seriously lawless use of our tax dollars.

And pray tell, how is the County going to locate these hurting yet deserving illegal alien families to send our tax dollars to?  By calling 1-800-Gustavo Torres CASA?  You can count on that, but there is an even more efficient method of identification.

You might not be aware that Montgomery County created and maintains, at great expense, medical facilities in the heavily Hispanic immigrant attended schools to provide a wide variety of free medical and other health-related services to qualifying students AND (repeat) AND their families.  The Montgomery Cares for Kids Network.  See link for Gaithersburg Elementary School for example which has 74% Hispanic students.

It is through this network of families tracked at each school's healthcare center that the County will create the list of "deserving" illegal alien families.  CASA, CAIR, and other illegal alien centric entities will of course add to the list of needy families who clearly deserve a check.  These groups also know where the bodies are buried so to speak.

Question - if Montgomery County officials have full access to and can use the illegal alien family medical services list to cut economic benefit checks, why can't we the taxpayers have access to this same list so we can turn it over the Federal ICE and FBI officials for immediate immigration enforcement action?

UPDATE:  Judicial Watch, on May 11, filed a lawsuit asking for a restraining order to stop Montgomery County's plan to financially aid illegal aliens impacted by the Wuhan coronavirus with our tax dollars! Stay tuned.

New Video Series on Latino Immigration

There is a new video series called "Americanos" from Prager University, a non-profit organization.

"Americanos features conservative Americans from various walks of life and Latino roots, sharing personal stories that celebrate and express the American values we all hold dear."

The first video is of Anna Paulina Luna, a 2nd generation Hispanic (Mexican) American.  Excellent video of her life story not often seen of conservative leaning Hispanics in America.

It is worth spending 12 minutes watching this uplifting video.

I am sick and tired of only hearing stories from groups like CASA of Maryland and CAIR on the mainstream media, who solely promote tales of illegal alien border jumpers and ungrateful immigrants/phony asylum seekers

Thank you PragerU!

"I'm grateful every single morning that I wake up - at the fact that I was born here, that I've had the opportunity to serve my country, and that because I am an American, I've been given the opportunity to flourish with as much hard work as I've put into it. And I've attained." - Anna Paulina Luna

"Tinhorn" Montgomery County Councilmember Will Jawanado Folds on Suspending Plastic Bag Tax"

It did not take long for the rookie MC Councilmember Will Jawando to get taken to the wood shed for thinking out of the box on an important public safety issue - the "unhealthy" use of cloth grocery bags in a time of the Wuhan coronavirus. Will learned that in Montgomery County you can only be diverse but not think diverse thoughts such as ending the punitive grocery bag tax on the much cleaner and safer plastic grocery bags during this crisis.

Will has been fully compliment in supporting the Montgomery County Sanctuary Policy for illegal aliens, keeping the prolonged energy tax in place and promoting non-discrimination for hair styles (he may modify his county law after he sees my Eurocentric Wuhan lock down hairdo!)  So when the "Grand Poobah" for the Montgomery County Grand Sierra Club informed Will they needed the five cent bag tax to continue to "help" the environment, public health be damned, Will quickly issued a very public mea culpa.

Our less then competent, loudmouth County Health Official Travis Gayles caved on the bag tax as well, telling citizens to wash their Wuhan coronavirus contaminated cloth bags instead after each grocery visit.  Gayles by the way, is one of the few remaining health officials in the country to preside over an increasing coronavirus positive population. Travis maybe should invest in some plastic grocery bags to help turn things around (and keep his cushy county job).

And Will, maybe next time you come up with an interesting and diverse idea, why don't you make a radical move and actually check in with the folks who live here, the taxpaying citizens of Montgomery County instead of the paid lobbyists, overpaid county officials and union cronies.

The Impact of Coronavirus on Plastic Bag Laws
Since many legislatures and city councils are out of session due to COVID-19, most current plastic bag ban and tax legislation has been put on hold. However, due to concerns from grocery store employees, many states and localities have paused enforcement of their previously enacted plastic bag bans and taxes. Some states and localities have banned the use of reusable bags, as well, due to concerns about the totes potentially spreading the coronavirus.
  • California's first-in-the-nation plastic bag ban has been put on hold for 60 days.
  • Six San Francisco Bay Area counties banned reusable bags.
  • Maine's plastic bag ban has been postponed until 2021.
  • The Governor of New Hampshire banned the use of reusable bags and ordered all grocery and retail stores to use single-use paper or plastic bags.
  • Many other states and localities across the country have suspended their plastic bag laws or they are prohibiting reusable bags in grocery stores.
In addition, many grocery stores and retail chains are enforcing their own rules around reusable bags during the current pandemic - either banning them from stores or requiring that customers with reusable bags pack their own purchases.

While the current pandemic has brought the issue of contamination of reusable bags to the forefront, this is an issue that has been studied and discussed for years. For example, a 2011 study found that 97% of people admit to never washing their reusable bags, and a 2018 study found that reusable bags were able to harbor bacteria and viruses and spread them around a grocery store.
