READ PSALM 91 - Trump declares Sunday a National Day of Prayer amid coronavirus crisis

Submitted by: W.G.E.N.

Thanks to Carol for the news on the rally in Olympia against the Sexuality Education bill.  What a bunch of SICK politicians we have here in Washington State -  they are participating in GROOMING our youngsters to become victims for the pedophiles that abound in this world.

I would like to add to Carols note and that of Pres. Trump - to read Psalm 91 each day - I do.

Psalm 91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

When we were riding up to Olympia on Wednesday morning, for the rally in Olympia, to ask Governor Inslee to veto the horrible Comprehensive Sexuality Education Bill (and to our surprise, 3000 Momma and Papa Bears, along with grandparents showed up!), we were talking about needing a day of prayer in regard to the Cornona/COVID 19 virus.  We are thankful that the President has declared a National Day of Prayer.  This could be a wonderful testimony to other Countries, as to our need to ask God to intervene.  Please pass this along to your pastors, family, friends and others, posting it on your Websites and social media!  We need to all join together in prayer!

Blessings! (^: Carol

Trump declares Sunday a National Day of Prayer amid coronavirus crisis

President Trump declared on Friday a National Day of Prayer for this upcoming Sunday, shortly after declaring a state of emergency amid the fast-spreading coronavirus pandemic.

"We are a Country that, throughout our history, has looked to God for protection and strength in times like these....," Trump tweeted. "No matter where you may be, I encourage you to turn towards prayer in an act of faith. Together, we will easily PREVAIL!"

It is my great honor to declare Sunday, March 15th as a National Day of Prayer. We are a Country that, throughout our history, has looked to God for protection and strength in times like these....

....No matter where you may be, I encourage you to turn towards prayer in an act of faith. Together, we will easily PREVAIL!

The annual National Day of Prayer is scheduled for May 7. Trump's announcement came after he declared a national emergency over the coronavirus pandemic, in addition to partnerships with several large companies to expand testing for the illness.

Trump has large support from white evangelical Christians and Catholic voters. As president, he's championed religious liberty and called for greater religious freedoms, such as strengthening prayer in public schools.

In addition to the updated guidance on prayer in schools, the Trump administration also took action across nine federal agencies, releasing proposed rules to ensure religious organizations are not discriminated against by the federal government.

"In America we celebrate faith. We cherish religion," he said during his State of the Union address last month. "We lift our voices in prayer and we raise our sights to the glory of God."
