NEWS FROM THE SECOND DISTRICT
Dear Friend, I have returned to Washington, D.C. ready to work for you. Before returning, I made a stop at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay and celebrated and boarded the inaugural American Airlines nonstop flight from Panama City to Ronald Reagan National Airport. On the House floor this week, I brought attention to the inevitable failure of impeachment in the Senate, but I also had the honor of recognizing Captain Dale Doss from Tallahassee.
Please read about my week below:
Visiting Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital As a final stop before returning to Washington, D.C. I toured Ascension Sacred Heart Bay, in Panama City with the CEO, Heath Evans to see all of the progress that the hospital has made recovering from Hurricane Michael. The hospital reopened in January of last year with just 75 beds available. They have since added 144 beds, bringing the hospital to full capacity at 219 beds. I am inspired and encouraged by this recovery and look forward to all of the successes we will see in the Panhandle.
American Airlines Inaugural Flight
On Tuesday, I had the pleasure of traveling on the American Airlines inaugural flight from Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) to Washington. This nonstop flight will run once a day between ECP and Ronald Reagan National Airport, increasing the ease of travel to and from our nation's Capitol and all that Panama City area has to offer.
Honoring Captain Dale Doss
This week, I honored the life of a true American hero - Captain Dale Doss. Dale Doss will be remembered for his sacrifices and his courageous service to our nation. May he rest in peace.

American Conservative Union Award This week, I was honored to receive the American Conservative Union Foundation's Award for Conservative Achievement. I am proud to stand for the conservative policies and principles that make our nation and district great.
Impeachment Sham Speaker Pelosi knows the Articles of Impeachment against President Trump are clearly a sham and will fail in the Senate. She has chosen to bypass our governing rules and go rogue by not transferring them to the Leader McConnell.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve you in Congress!
Sincerely,
Dr. Neal Dunn Member of Congress

Constituent Casework Corner
After the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) denied numerous claims for testing to determine if a constituent's cancer had returned and they received thousands of dollars in medical bills, the constituent contacted my office for assistance. We were able to work with CMS to have the denied claims reviewed and it was discovered the wrong codes were used on the submitted claims. The constituent's doctor resubmitted the claims with the corrected codes allowing CMS to process and approve all of them.
