NEWS FROM THE SECOND DISTRICT
Dear Friend,This week, we gathered with family and friends to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday and recognize all that we are grateful for. We also supported our small businesses on "Small Business Saturday." As Congress returns to Washington, D.C. we look to pass meaningful legislation like the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), rather than waste more time and resources on Speaker Pelosi's partisan impeachment scam.
Please read about my week below:
Thanksgiving with Troops
Thanksgiving is an opportunity to recognize and appreciate all that we hold dear. I am especially grateful for all of our troops as they have dedicated their lives to ensure our safety and the ability to enjoy our most basic freedoms. This Thanksgiving, I served meals at Tyndall Air Force Base. Thank you, Colonel Laidlaw, for the opportunity to express my sincere appreciation for our airmen and those who support the base. Small Business Saturday Yesterday, we recognized Small Business Saturday, which embraces and encourages shopping at the small businesses in our community. Our hard-working neighbors who open their businesses, the richness of what they offer us, and the investment we make in our own economy when we purchase from them are all reasons to celebrate. As 67% of every dollar spent at a small business is returned to the local economy, it is important to recognize and support opportunities to invest our money close to home. I encourage you to do this not just on Small Business Saturday, but every day. Many thanks to all of our local businesses who participated in Small Business Saturday and continue to provide our district with exemplary goods and services. United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA)Speaker Pelosi recently indicated that the House may not have time to pass the USMCA. The Democrats have been dedicating their time to impeaching President Trump instead of focusing on passing this critical piece of legislation. The USMCA is important to the state of Florida as we export $7.1 billions of dollars worth of goods to Mexico and Canada. It will simplify trade for our small businesses, improve labor conditions, and open up the market for our farmers. I stand ready to support the passage of the USMCA when Speaker Pelosi and the Democrats refocus their attention on passing legislation that the American people care about and rely on.
Thank you for your continued energy and enthusiasm, as reflected in your letters and Facebook posts. If you haven’t already, LIKE my Facebook page. You can also follow me on Twitter @DrNealDunnFL2.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve you in Congress!
Sincerely,
Dr. Neal Dunn Member of Congress

Constituent Casework Corner
After a veteran ran out of their respiratory supplies two months in a row and a regular delivery schedule was no longer being followed by the Department of Veterans Affairs’ third-party contracted vendor, the veteran contacted my office in fear they would not have enough oxygen to last until the next delivery. We were able to work with the Department of Veterans Affairs to have their third-party contracted vendor provide additional supplies to the veteran and a permanent delivery schedule established.
