FLORIDA - JOE HARDING WEEKLY UPDATE 11/22/2019

WEEKLY UPDATE

A highlight of this week was Wednesday’s Ocala/Marion County Chamber and Economic Partnership exCEPtional Morning breakfast, where I was honored to give the opening prayer. It’s always good to be among the men and women who are doing the hard work of starting and running businesses in our community.
Tim Gannon, co-founder of Outback Steakhouse, shared his inspiring entrepreneurial story, including his “Velcro moment,” the “Bloomin’ Onion.” He urged us to look for ideas that “stick” in our own businesses. I enjoyed sharing with Tim that the first non-construction job I had in college was working for an OSI restaurant and what a positive experience it was for me as a young man starting out in my career.
One of my biggest priorities in Tallahassee will be to make sure Florida continues to be a state where entrepreneurs like Tim Gannon as well as small family businesses can flourish. A heavy tax burden and time-consuming regulations should not get in the way of business owners providing value for their customers and opportunities for their employees.

Your support means so much. Thank you and have a great weekend!
Joe
Paid by Joe Harding, Republican, for State Representative
