Folks forget that many ailments seem to increase in growth if you only prune the outer edges of a problem. As in gardening - pruning has a way of increasing growth. If you REALLY want to eliminate the PROBLEM then you must eliminate the entire ROOT and be sure to not leave any stragglers behind as they will then begin to grow all over again. When we tore out the ROOT of Belief in Jesus Christ we tore out the GOOD - setting up the fertile soil of SIN and disobedience.

Lawlessness is the growing rule of our day. Recent acts of evil in El Paso and Dayton once again focus our attention on violence in America. Those with an agenda know that mass shootings make headlines and are quite effective at stirring emotions for political cause.

So is it as the liberal media and politicians claim that the proliferation of firearms availability coupled with increasingly lethal weapons technology are to blame for our woes? If so, why now? Mass shootings are a relatively new phenomenon in America. We didn’t use to have this sort of thing. What changed?
Not firearms availability. Americans have had unfettered access to firearms since before we were even a nation. Prior to the 1968 Gun Control Act, firearms could be mail-ordered or purchased like any other commodity without background checks or paperwork. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) wasn’t even founded until 1972. Today over 20,000 federal, state and local gun control laws are in effect across the breadth of our nation. Guns require more effort today to be legally obtained than at any other time in our history. So availability of firearms isn’t the issue. What about guns being more lethal today than yesteryear?
Current cartridge (bullet) technology is over two hundred years old, the first integrated cartridge being invented in 1808. This development allowed for repeating handguns and rifles (revolvers, bolt and lever action rifles) instead of the single shot weapons of earlier vintage. Semi auto and full auto weapons were developed in 1885. Up until the 1934 National Firearms Act (NFA), the purchase of fully automatic weapons was the same as any other firearm. No mass shootings back then and much lower crime rates than today. The same basic gun designs have been in effect for over one hundred years. Again the question, so what’s changed? The answer should be obvious. We’ve changed.
With the introduction of Modernism (liberalism) into the church in the 1920’s, heresy and apostasy became mainstream, the church losing its moral influence in society even as it lost its own moral bearing. Then came the 1962 Engel vs Vitale Supreme Court “ruling”, removing prayer from public schools. The following year saw the 1963 Abington vs Schempp Supreme Court opinion which removed Bibles from public schools. Two constitutionally powerless court dictates nevertheless accepted as law by self-serving politicians, an apathetic society and the cowardly church. The years 1962-1963 became a turning point in America. Crime rates, unwed pregnancies, divorce, substance abuse, suicides, school drop-out rates, domestic violence; all of these numbers began to increase significantly after God was removed from schools. The only thing that went into decline was SAT scores.

Those that despise wisdom and instruction control our education system. Today children are taught that there is no Christian God and thus no moral absolutes. There is no right or wrong, just one’s feelings to determine what might be right or wrong for you. The result is moral anarchy. Biblical morality is openly despised. Tolerance, the creed of liberalism, only applies to liberal ideas. Consequently, kids are conditioned to violently oppose Christian ethics and conservative thought. They’re also taught that human life means less than that of animals. Save the whales, kill the unborn. This is the culture of death that’s been created for us through our silent assent. An innocent child goes into the public indoctrination/education system and is stripped of moral compass and conscience. Confusion is openly encouraged to the extent that some don’t even know what gender they are. These relentlessly brainwashed grow into self-absorbed, immature, restless, spiritually void and emotionally unstable adults. What else would they be?
Then we wring out hands and wonder “why?’ when one of these created monsters goes on a killing spree. Such an outcome is perfectly predictable. Satan knows this, liberal planners know this, and so should we. Please understand, the liberal puppet masters in government, media and academia don’t care who or how many have to die. Their feigned compassion and/or outrage is a political strategy for public consumption, nothing more. We’re assured that the best way to protect us from ourselves is to take away our ability to defend ourselves from the maniacal change agents they’ve seeded into society.
In response we end up trying to debate the facts of gun control legality and efficacy with those who couldn’t care less about such things. They of the desperate “we need to do something!” mantra, even if that something is demonstrably ineffective, and worse, an anathema to a free nation.

What we miss by allowing the America-haters to frame the debate is that the very position they attack from, liberalism, is the moral plague that’s led to the death and destruction we see in our streets today. The spread of liberalism is what’s turned the minds and hearts in America away from the Christian worldview that once was taught in our schools, predominated in our communities, and kept us safer by virtue of our shared morality. The availability of firearms doesn’t change a person’s heart. Sin does. Sin is the problem. Liberalism is the vehicle.
“For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:” (Matthew 15:19)
We’ve heard quite a bit about the heart of the El Paso shooter, and his evil should be exposed. However his targeting of innocent Hispanics does not indicate a Christian worldview or conservative thinking, as the media would like you to think. Such heinous action is an extension of the left’s multiple calls for violence. Hatred fuels liberalism. As example:

We haven’t heard near as much about the Dayton shooter, at least not from the mainstream media, because details of that shooter’s motivations are counterproductive to the attack on gun ownership and political conservatism.
The Dayton shooter was a socialist, democrat, and Satanist who identified with Antifa. He politically supported Bernie Saunders and Elizabeth Warren, and was an advocate for gun control. The last part shouldn’t surprise you. Hardcore leftists like this guy understand that their deranged actions serve to aid their evil cause. This is the depth and commitment to evil we face. According to Newsweek, the Dayton shooter also was “a singer in a metal band that played “goregrind” or “pornogrind” music, which is known for sexually violent, death-obsessed lyrics and dehumanizing imagery depicting women.” This guy killed his own sister in the attack. Of interest, she identified as being a male. The Dayton shooter is the poster boy for the effects of liberalism in America.
Areas with the highest crime rates have the commonalities of majority liberal populations, democratic leadership and strict gun control laws. Over 90% of mass shooters are registered Democrats. None are NRA members, Tea Party affiliated, or Christians. Let that sink in. Mass shooters, defined as those shooting four or more people, aren’t exclusively white as the race-obsessed, divide and conquer liberals would have you believe. All ethnicities are represented. As should be obvious, the color of one’s skin isn’t a factor, liberal ideology is. There are no areas in our nation unaffected by liberalism; a political, secular ideology that foundationally opposes God and in doing so, promotes sin. Another word for sin is wickedness. Wickedness and violence go hand in hand.
“The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his (God’s) soul hateth. (Psalm 11:5)
Here the psalmist links cause, wickedness, to effect, violence. This is always the case.
“The earth also was corrupt (with sin) before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.” (Genesis 6:11-13)
A time of great violence indicates great wickedness, leading to judgment. Not all liberals are violent or advocate violence but there are many that do. Liberalism = Sin = Violence. That reality is becoming more evident every day.

Our form of government, a Constitutional Republic, was laid on the foundation of Christianity. It was predicted that we couldn’t survive as a nation bereft of that essential faith and resultant moral restraint.

Given the track record of population disarmament before government led genocide, what could possibly go wrong?

Men will either practice self-discipline by their faith in God, abiding in His definitions of right and wrong to produce a civil society or we continue to allow power-hungry, Godless men to render a lawless society requiring the imposition of increasingly restrictive laws to maintain order.
Be aware of your surroundings. And if you’re competent and willing, have the means to defend yourself and others if the situation requires. Being armed is your God-given birthright. Don’t let the liberals who’ve created the environment for mass shootings blame their results on you and I. The blood of the innocent is on their hands. Keep yours on your guns.

In 1981, while in medical school, I did my psychiatric rotation (4 weeks, at the mental hospital in Traverse City, Michigan. It is a 5000 bed facility, but in 1981, only 800 beds / patients were in the facility. During the night, a few of us medical students would wander the underground tunnels that went from building to building, and spent time in their medical records library, as the facility had been opened since the early 1800s. So many cases of being admitted for years due to political disagreements, to husbands that wanted to get riid of their wives, and thus made up stories and on and on and on. After World War 2, by the early 1950s, jobs were plentiful, and nearly everyone had a good job. Marriages were good and many children were born to parents whom said to them selves, “I grew up during the depression, I do not want my children to live like that.” And thus, these 50s children were given a life of good times and basic luxury. College was reasonable in cost and these children went to college and majored in social work. They wanted to help the world. During the 1970s, these young social workers went to the psychiatric hospitals that were across the USA, all 5000 to 10000 bed pysh hospitals and these young grads said, “Hey these people do not have mental illness, they are being kept here because they have different beliefs. And politicians played to the choir and let over 3/4ths of them loose over a 3 year period. It was a mass murder plan. These mental health patients could not take care of themselves, they had no where to go, their families did not want them and they were let loose to sleep under bridges, railroad yards, anywhere and so many of them died from exposure, The newspapers did their part, by not reporting on this catastrophy, but it is in the history books.
Back to the second amendment, firearms are the great equalizer, a wimpy 95 pound woman with the right fire arm can take on an entire motorcycle club. The second amendment is clearly about government tyranny.
Through years, society changes. Voting for a person to get into a political office has been taken over by the two political parties and we citizens really do not get a choice. We get a selection of one of two people that the elites select and own.
The solution is to have a lottery, define the political job in terms of education, experience, whatever, and then any US Citizen that meets the criteria by paying $200 vetting fee, gets their name in the hat. The vetting will assure us citizens that the person can actually do the job. Come SELECTION DAY, a name will be pulled out of the hat. This way there will probably be hundreds of people that get vetted and have the ability to do the job, and we know that on day one they are not bought and paid for. We know that term limits will not be needed, getting selected twice is statistically very low, thus it will be an act of GOD, if a person gets selected twice. Since they are not bought and paid for, the selected person will probably stick to the real business of the USA, and not worry about raising their salary or voting in lots of perks.

Men will either practice self-discipline by their faith in God, abiding in His definitions of right and wrong to produce a civil society or we continue to allow power-hungry, Godless men to render a lawless society requiring the imposition of increasingly restrictive laws to maintain order.
Be aware of your surroundings. And if you’re competent and willing, have the means to defend yourself and others if the situation requires. Being armed is your God-given birthright. Don’t let the liberals who’ve created the environment for mass shootings blame their results on you and I. The blood of the innocent is on their hands. Keep yours on your guns.

In 1981, while in medical school, I did my psychiatric rotation (4 weeks, at the mental hospital in Traverse City, Michigan. It is a 5000 bed facility, but in 1981, only 800 beds / patients were in the facility. During the night, a few of us medical students would wander the underground tunnels that went from building to building, and spent time in their medical records library, as the facility had been opened since the early 1800s. So many cases of being admitted for years due to political disagreements, to husbands that wanted to get riid of their wives, and thus made up stories and on and on and on. After World War 2, by the early 1950s, jobs were plentiful, and nearly everyone had a good job. Marriages were good and many children were born to parents whom said to them selves, “I grew up during the depression, I do not want my children to live like that.” And thus, these 50s children were given a life of good times and basic luxury. College was reasonable in cost and these children went to college and majored in social work. They wanted to help the world. During the 1970s, these young social workers went to the psychiatric hospitals that were across the USA, all 5000 to 10000 bed pysh hospitals and these young grads said, “Hey these people do not have mental illness, they are being kept here because they have different beliefs. And politicians played to the choir and let over 3/4ths of them loose over a 3 year period. It was a mass murder plan. These mental health patients could not take care of themselves, they had no where to go, their families did not want them and they were let loose to sleep under bridges, railroad yards, anywhere and so many of them died from exposure, The newspapers did their part, by not reporting on this catastrophy, but it is in the history books.
Back to the second amendment, firearms are the great equalizer, a wimpy 95 pound woman with the right fire arm can take on an entire motorcycle club. The second amendment is clearly about government tyranny.
Through years, society changes. Voting for a person to get into a political office has been taken over by the two political parties and we citizens really do not get a choice. We get a selection of one of two people that the elites select and own.
The solution is to have a lottery, define the political job in terms of education, experience, whatever, and then any US Citizen that meets the criteria by paying $200 vetting fee, gets their name in the hat. The vetting will assure us citizens that the person can actually do the job. Come SELECTION DAY, a name will be pulled out of the hat. This way there will probably be hundreds of people that get vetted and have the ability to do the job, and we know that on day one they are not bought and paid for. We know that term limits will not be needed, getting selected twice is statistically very low, thus it will be an act of GOD, if a person gets selected twice. Since they are not bought and paid for, the selected person will probably stick to the real business of the USA, and not worry about raising their salary or voting in lots of perks.

- Yes, people do not know about this dark history of the USA when you could report someone and the “G-men” would come and black bag them in the middle of the night and never seen again.
- Those days are coming back.
