June 12, 2019

Eight incendiary balloons hit the Eshkol region abutting the Gaza Strip on Tuesday.

Israel reduced the Palestinian fishing zone off Gaza to 6 miles.

Jordan, Morocco and Egypt to attend Bahrain conference...............

June 12, 2019
King Abdullah of Jordan, bowing to US pressure, agreed on Tuesday to send delegates to the conference opening in Bahrain on June 26, for unveiling the economic segment of the Trump Middle East peace plan.

This is a major setback for the Palestinian Authority: Abdullah has broken ranks with Ramallah, instead of joining its boycott of the event for failing to address Palestinian political aspirations.
US diplomats have therefore overcome resistance in Amman, Rabat and Cairo and persuaded the rulers of Jordan, Morocco and Egypt to send delegates to the Bahrain conference for unveiling the Trump Middle East peace plan’s economic section.
The conference will not address any political aspects of the Palestinian-Israeli dispute.

With Japanese PM heading for Tehran, Iran threatens US............

June 12, 2019
Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif accused the US of waging economic war on his country in a tough speech alongside his visiting German counterpart Heiko Maas on Monday.

With Japanese PM Shinto Abe heading for Tehran on a mission approved by President Donald Trump to try and mediate the US-Iranian crisis, Zarif warned that “America can’t expect to stay safe… Whoever starts a war with us will not be the one who finishes it,” he said.
