President Trump in December 2017 recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital and in May 2018 followed through on his campaign promise to move the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
A lot of Christians are not aware of something called the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995, passed by both the House and the Senate, which called for the US Embassy in Tel Aviv to be moved to Jerusalem.
The act left final decision making in the president's hand to either move it or exercise a waiver that would last for 6 months, and then either decide to move it or use the waiver. Well, gutless 2-term presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Hussein Obama all used the waivers for a total of 46 times over a 23 year period, even though all had promised to move it while campaigning for office.
But when you read a little bit further down in the Embassy Act, you come across a line that says "Jerusalem should remain an undivided city in which the rights of every ethnic and religious group are protected; Jerusalem should be recognized as the capital of the State of Israel".
Someone should go tell the Arab Palestinians they can stop rioting now, all of Jerusalem, east and west, is the capital of the sovereign state of Israel. Case closed.
Mike Pompeo is an interesting person. If you recall, he is the guy who included a 2-second shot of a scale model of the proposed Third Jewish Temple in his official video made from his trip to Israel back in March of this year.
He is also the guy who mentions the Pretribulation Rapture when he is talking about Israel and the Middle East.
That being the case, it also should not surprise you that Pompeo is the 70th person to hold the job of US Secretary of State, and he got the job in the same year that regathered Israel turned 70.
U.S. ENDS WAIVERS OF JERUSALEM EMBASSY ACT AFTER TERMS FULFILLED
FROM THE JERUSALEM POST: No more waivers will be granted to the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Act because its terms have been fulfilled and the process of relocating the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Israel’s capital have been fulfilled, the United States announced on Wednesday.
“I am pleased to report that I have provided my determination to Congress that the relevant elements of the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 have been addressed. Accordingly, no further presidential waiver of the funding restriction under the act is necessary,” US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Wednesday.
He made his announcement just as Israel prepared to celebrate its 71st anniversary.
Both Pompeo and US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman tweeted about the end of a what had almost become a ritual, in which twice a year the US president would waive the act, which mandated the relocation of the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

“Twenty-three years ago, Congress overwhelmingly voted in support of moving the US embassy to Jerusalem. Successive administrations refused to move the embassy, and instead exercised presidential waivers to avoid the act’s restrictions,” Pompeo said in a statement by his office.

The Roman Catholic Church has for the first time opened up its annual exorcism class in Rome to representatives of all major Christian faiths. The Pontifical University of Regina Apostolorum is a Vatican-affiliated university in Rome that has been conducting the increasingly popular annual exorcism conventions for Roman Catholic priests for the past 14 years.
But now the doors of the 14th Exorcism and Prayer of Liberation Course have been thrown open to groups once considered heretical and demon-infested only a few short centuries ago.
Now some 250 Roman Catholics, Lutherans, Greek Orthodox andProtestant priests have assembled to arm themselves with the sword of the holy word to battle Satan amid the souls of their parishoners.
It is itself a dark art, born of a dark age. The Roman Catholic Church, however, insists demonic possession is on the rise. [it certainly seems to be amongst its myriad paedophile priesthood?]
In 2014, it formally recognised the ancient ritual of exorcism under Canon Law and gave official approval to the formal creation of theInternational Association of Exorcists.
It blames the secularisation of society along with the increasing popularity of competing religions, tarot readings, astrology, the internet and atheism for opening the demonic floodgates.
And the best way to fix this, it believes, is to tackle the ‘possessed’ head-on.
What a farce!!! And yet just another sign of just where we are in the prophetic timeline.

Speaking to a Lebanese TV station, Ziad Nakhala [pictured above] issues threats against Israel and predicts a large-scale war in the coming months against the backdrop of U.S. actions in the region.
Palestinian Islamic Jihad was "about to launch rockets at Tel Aviv when the ceasefire [with Israel] stopped it from happening," the terrorist group's leader, Ziad Nakhala, told the Beirut-based Al Mayadeen TV station on Tuesday.
Nakhala, who was in Egypt when the latest round of violence between Israel and Gaza-based terrorist groups erupted last Friday, outlined in the interview how events unfolded and also issued threats against Israel.
"We used sniper fire in response to [Israel Defence Forces] soldiers shooting at our innocent, demonstrating civilians," he said, adding that "we will continue until all our objectives are met. What happened in the most recent escalation was a preparation for the next major battle. From now on, the rocket fire will focus primarily on Tel Aviv and other large cities."
Nakhala, who currently resides in Beirut, continued:
"The test will be during the March of Return demonstrations on Fridays, on Nakba Day and on the one-year anniversary of the relocation of the U.S. Embassy to holy Jerusalem. If there are casualties among our people, it is our right to respond and that's what we will do. We will intercept the enemy's soldiers on the border and launch long-range rockets beyond Tel Aviv. We are not afraid of the Zionist enemy. We defeated the occupation army in every round of escalation and we will do it again."
The terrorist leader claimed that "Israel attacked civilian buildings and that forced us to respond strongly. There was no prior plan for it. We still insist that Gaza is under siege and demonstrators are coming under live fire during the March of Return protests. The siege must be lifted from Gaza. We are handling it. In the meantime, Israel is making promises to Egypt and isn't keeping them."
Nakhala took aim at countries in the Arab world, accusing them of remaining silent in the face of what he said was U.S.-backed Israeli aggression.
He also said there were numerous signs that a war against Gaza would be launched "this summer," and that his organization was prepared. Asked if he thinks such a war will entail demilitarising the Gaza Strip, Nakhala said yes.
Nakhala believes that the United States and Egypt sought the current ceasefire. According to the terrorist leader, Israel faced a dilemma: on the one hand it wanted to continue fighting, and on the other were Independence Day celebrations, set to begin Wednesday night.
Hence he expects a war to erupt over the summer. In his view, it will be a large-scale war amid the backdrop of American machinations in the region.
China Is Running Out of Dollars..............

The People's Republic of China has had a trade surplus with the US for decades. In 2018, its surplus with America rose to a record $323.32 billion. China's total foreign exchange reserves stand at $3.073 trillion.
This massive hoard of dollar wealth has quickly become an illusion. In real terms, China is actually running out of dollars.
The Renminbi is the official currency of China.
In terms of global reserve currency, the renminbi has a share of only 1.9%, in fifth place, and barely ahead of the Canadian dollar, but miles behind the US dollar (61.7%) and the Euro (20.7%). Over the past two years, the renminbi has gone nowhere as a reserve currency. In March, the Renminbi had a minuscule share of merely 1.22% of international cross-border payments.
Anyone who has a basic understanding of how economics works knows: when you print too much of your currency, its value should go down. The Chinese government has somehow managed to print a massive amount of renminbi without triggering hyper-inflation. Since 1952, the money supply has grown by a staggering 18,000-fold.
The US has a huge national debt, but it is small compared to China's debt load. The US economy is roughly $20 trillion. Theirs is roughly $13 trillion. China's banking system is north of $50 trillion. The U.S. is currently at $22 trillion.
Because China is a resource-poor nation, it has to import vast amounts of raw materials. No other nation on earth has imported more goods.
In the past 20 years, China has consumed more cement than America has used in the past 100 years. From just 2004, its oil imports have increased four times. China imports 68% of the world's supply of iron ore.
China's massive imports have resulted in a huge dollar-shortage for the Chinese banking system. That's because Chinese businesses still owe over $2.25 trillion in dollar-denominated debts that arematuring over the next couple of years (by year-end 2021).
For instance - The Bank of China only just four years ago had more dollar-assets than all of the other big banks. But by the end of 2018 – they had over $72 billion in dollar-liabilities. (That's a net-change of -$128 billion in only four years.)
The Chinese government has been spending huge amounts of money on its military. In 2009, it spent 400 billion renminbi on its military. By the end of this year, it will spend 1,200 billion renminbi, which is a threefold increase in a decade.
With the Chinese economy now hopelessly addicted to Middle East oil and raw materials from Africa, some economists are starting to wonder if China will turn to the military option once its supply of dollars runs out. Hitler made a mad grab for resources before he turned to blitzkrieg to wipe out his foreign debts.
When John the Revelator wrote about an army of 200 million, generations of people were mystified by the prediction. There weren't 200 million people on earth at the time. Now that we have 7.7 billion people on earth, and China has a population of 1.4 billion people, it is possible to outfit such a vast army.
It is a China-explosive economic growth that is the clearest indication that the Kings of the East are about to move out.
A decade ago, China had no ability to project military power on the international stage.
In the past few years, China's wild spending has suddenlytransformed it into a global giant. Because China only has a limited amount of time and money to maintain such a massive military force, the tribulation hour must be very near.
"And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared" (Revelation 16:12).
"Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them" (Revelation 9:14-16).
Israel remembers its fallen soldiers and victims of terror...........

At 11 a.m., Israelis will be silent for two minutes in memory of 23,741 fallen soldiers and security agents and 3,150 victims of terrorism. Bereaved families are spreading out in the military graveyards accompanied by young soldiers.
Since last year, 56 uniformed victims joined the list plus 46 who died of their injuries and 13 victims of terrorist attacks.
A special ceremony takes place at the Jewish Agency compound in Jerusalem to commemorate the victims of anti-Semitism around the world, including those who perished at San Diego and Pittsburgh synagogues.
US Ambassador David Friedman will attend.
Tuesday night, the central Memorial Day event taking place at the Western Wall, heard the Chief of Staff, Lieutenant. General Aviv Kochavi pledge: “We will never rest until every last soldier returns from the battlefield.”
