Virginia's 2nd district is located on the Atlantic coast, centered around Virginia Beach. It has a high concentration of military and veterans.

Scott Taylor won in 2016 because as a SEAL sniper he represents the people of the district and their priorities in Congress.

But Democrats targeted his seat from the start and have helped his opponent Elaine Luria raise $1.8 million last quarter compared to just over $600,000 for Taylor. 

In addition outside groups led by Nancy Pelosi have spent over $2 million on TV ads attacking Taylor.

Elaine Luria has outmatched Scott Taylor in recent fundraising

In the past three months, Democrat Elaine Luria has out-raised and outspent Rep. Scott Taylor in her attempt to unseat the one-term congressman, according to new campaign finance reports.
The 2nd Congressional District has drawn national attention from both political parties because Democrats, who are seeking to win a majority in the House of Representatives, have targeted Taylor.
Luria's campaign reported taking in $1.87 million from July 1 to Sept. 30, compared to Taylor's $676,770 for the same time period, according to FEC reports filed late Monday. 
As the Nov. 6 election draws near, Luria had another $1.3 million in the bank as of Sept. 30, and Taylor had $491,669, the reports state. 
Luria has received significant outside support including an endorsement from former President Obama and large TV ad buys from Nancy Pelosi's political groups. 

It's clear Democrats will spend any amounts of money to win this seat. We can't allow them to do it through attacks and smears.

Scott Taylor is a proud conservative who has a bright future in Congress if he can beat back the Democrat attacks and win re-election. Will you support voter outreach to help him?

Luria is attempting to appeal to the Republican district by sounding moderate and independent. Yet we know she supports far left priorities like government-run healthcare and giving sanctuary to criminals.
