The complete and total truth that the media is not reporting is that according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), during fiscal year 2018, CBP apprehended 521,090 illegal aliens on our Southwest border (approximately a third of those claimed to be part of intact family units)... and that number does not even take into account those who were allowed to enter and those who were never caught.
When the so-called migrant caravan reached 4,000, some called it an"invasion." So... if 4,000 is an invasion what, in the name of all that is holy, is over half-a-million a year?
Here's the bottom line. Illegal aliens come across our border because everyone knows that our immigration laws are a joke.
House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy recently introduced the Build the Wall, Enforce the Law Act (HR 7059) to secure the border, tighten our our immigration laws and stop the madness and Republicans in Congress would rather campaign on it than pass it!
And that is unacceptable. It's time to to make these elected officials feel the heat. It's time to force them to actually keep a promise they made years ago to secure our border and institute common-sense changes to our immigration laws.

There Is No Excuse. Congress Can Send HR 7059 To President Trump's Desk Now!
At this very moment our elected officials are on the campaign trail and most of them are talking tough on illegal immigration.
They're blaming the Democrats... they're regurgitating a promise that they've broken for years... and the sad truth is that legislation to fix the problem is gathering dust.

"These folks coming up have commandeered highways going through Mexico with no respect for the law, and when they get here, do you think that will change?" -Congressman Dave Brat.
Now... let's get one thing straight. There is no Democrat obstruction. Nothing prohibits a Republican majority in both Houses from flying into Washington for an afternoon, calling a quorum, daring Democrats in the Senate to filibuster it, and voting to send a piece of legislation to the President's desk.
The problem is that Republican elected officials would rather campaign on the issue than fix the issue.
And you can rest assured, if we allow these elected officials to simply campaign on this issue, they will campaign on it again two years from now... four years from now... six years from now. They won't fix it until we demand that they fix it.

Here's The Reality... GOP Elites Would Rather Lose Both Houses Of Congress Than Enact Meaningful Immigration Reform!
Don't take our word for it. You only need to read between the lines.
When the media confronted the outgoing Republican Speaker of the House on McCarthy's immigration bill, Paul Ryan told reporters "We intend on having a full-fledged discussion about how to complete this mission of securing our border."
Translation? Hell will freeze over before we ever do anything about illegal immigration... now shut up and go to the polls in November.
And they didn't discuss squat. As the liberal New York Times put it: "Ryan said he and others in Congress did not think a funding fight made sense ahead of the midterms."
You read that right! Paul Ryan is promising to discuss meaningful immigration reform AFTER the November election... an election Republicans are in jeopardy of losing precisely because they have refused to send a bill to the President's desk that would fully fund any sincere efforts to control our borders!
And Ryan is not alone. Senator Richard Shelby who chairs the powerful Senate Appropriations Committee said that McCarthy's proposal is "impossible"and other Republican leaders in both Houses of Congress have already declaring HR 7509 Dead On Arrival.
As a matter of fact, HR 7059 only has a meager 20 cosponsors because House Republicans are so scared of GOP leaders they don't dare sign onto it... but with your help, we're going to change that cowardice right here and right now!
Yet again, Republican elected officials are lying to each and every one of us. There is nothing "impossible" about passing meaningful immigration reform and there is no reason to wait until after the election to do it. They still have the majority.
And as much as we hate to say it, it's time to remind these elected officials, in no uncertain terms, that a federal election is less than two weeks away and if they don't pass HR 7509 now and send it to the President's desk that they may not have the majority after November 6th.
