Debbie Stabenow has been in politics for 43 years, since the Jimmy Carter years. She has been a Senator since 2000. Yet she admitted she was unaware of the major issues facing veterans.

Now she is trying to make up for it. Asked how she is supporting veterans she pointed to a series of press releases her office sent out. When pressed on the actions she took she couldn't name one.

Debbie has shown once again she will do anything to get elected every 6 years but won't actually accomplish anything in the years in between.

Republican nominee for US Senate John James is calling for a debate on veterans’ issues with Sen. Debbie Stabenow. 
“Debbie Stabenow has been a career politician for 43 years and repeatedly uses my fellow veterans as props during an election year but never follows through,” John James said. 
“As a West Point graduate, and Operation Iraqi Freedom Army veteran, I will be a Senator that truly looks out for our veterans.   
I will work to get access to quality health care, provide assistance to stop opioid addiction, and get veterans the treatment they need to stop suicides."
