But to make matters worse, 23 of the 48 Republicans - that's right... Republicans - who initially co-sponsored this legislation have already signed the discharge petition to bring this massive amnesty bill (H. Res 774) to the floor.
That means that once two of the three remaining Democrats in the House who have not put their names on the discharge petition (one Democrat has stated that he will not sign it) sign it, only 3 of the remaining 25 Republicans, who co-sponsored this legislative monster in the first place, need to sign it to put a massive amnesty on the fast track to passage.

This Is A Red Alert
As we initially reported just days ago, a clear majority of Democrats and pro-amnesty Republicans are deploying a massive procedural dirty trick to sneak what may well be the most massive amnesty for illegal aliens ever proposed through Congress... and they may pull the trigger in a matter of days.

Here's How The Scheme Is Going To Work... You Might Want To Be Sure You're Sitting Down When You Read It.
H. Res 774 is essentially a placeholder bill that issues a broad instruction to Congress to amend our immigration and homeland security laws.
The bill then directs Congress to immediately place four amendments (and only four amendments) onto the floor of the House of Representatives; and these amendments can only be proposed by Representatives Bob Goodlatte, Lucille Roybal-Allard, Jeff Denham and Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (or their designees).
Each amendment will actually be a stand-alone piece of legislation. Further amendments and points of order are expressly prohibited and debate on each amendment will be limited to a meager 40 minutes.
Then... the amendment that gets the most votes is deemed as passed... that's why they call it the Queen of the Hill Bill.
Now, we know what will be in the Goodlatte amendment. It will likely be a version of H.R. 4760 (the Securing America's Future Act), a bill that Goodlatte had previously introduced that supposedly tightens border security but also paves the way for a DACA amnesty.
And that is as good as it gets folks. We don't have any details on the three remaining amendments, and it is highly likely that no one, including other Members of Congress, will have ANY details until these amendments actually hit the floor... no one will be given sufficient time to read them and the entire 435 member Congress will have only 40 stinking minutes to debate them!
However, what we do know is that Lucille Roybal-Allard, Jeff Denham and Paul Ryan are HUGE PROPONENTS OF AMNESTY FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS and earn scores of F-, D and D+ respectively from Numbers USA.
Here's the bottom line folks. Goodlatte's bill (which is lacking in so many respects) will NOT be Queen of the Hill. The amnesty legislation that passes will be proposed by one of three extreme amnesty advocates and no one will know what's in it until AFTER they pass it! As Nancy Pelosi once said: We've got to pass it to find out what's in it.
Again, we must take action right now and flood our elected officials with calls and Blast Faxes because if you don't take action, a massive amnesty for illegal aliens could become the law of the land in a matter of days!

But Wait... The Subterfuge Gets Even More Disgusting.
To make matters even worse, our elected officials are determined to literally sneak this bill past you in the dark of night.
Bear with us here as we explain it. Presently, H.R. 774 has 245 co-sponsors. That's more than a majority of the House of Representatives. If it hit the floor of the House today, IT WOULD PASS.
But instead of following regular order and bringing this bill to committee, rabid pro-amnesty RINO Congressman Carlos Curbelo (R-FL) filed a Discharge Petition just a few days ago, on May 9th, to bypass committee and bring the bill straight to the floor.
Now, typically a Discharge Petition is employed to thwart the will of a Speaker of the House who refuses to bring a bill to the floor (that is the Speaker's prerogative by the way).
But wait a minute. Paul Ryan is one of the four people who is offering an amendment to the bill. Why would he want to block the bill? The short answer is, he doesn't.
Is it possible that Ryan wants to keep his fingerprints off of what he ALREADY KNOWS is going to be the Mother of All Amnesty Bills? Is he planning to lie to our faces after the fact and contend that the House of Representatives overruled him and forced his hand?
We'll let you answer that question yourself.
And while we're at it, here's another question.
Republican leaders have already claimed that they simply put H. Res 774forward to open debate in Congress on the allegedly stalled issue of immigration.
But if that is the case, then why are Members of the House going to only be allowed 40 minutes to debate bills that have not been through committee, and possibly will remain unseen until hours before they hit the floor.
We'll let you answer that question yourself too, but it sounds like a railroad to us.
One thing is certain. 245 Members of Congress have already co-sponsored H. Res 774 and it only takes 218 of them to sign the discharge petition. They're actually collecting signatures at this very moment.
And rest assured, they'll have those signatures in a matter of days and throw H. Res 774 on the floor the very second they have those signatures. There will be no announcement... no fanfare... no advanced warning... they'll do it quietly...and they'll get away with it unless they KNOW THAT YOU'RE ON TO THEIR DUPLICITOUS GAME... AND THERE'S ONLY ONE WAY TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN. WE MUST FLOOD CONGRESS WITH CALLS AND BLAST FAXES RIGHT NOW!
