Nevada 2A Patriots, Happy Memorial Day Weekend!
While enjoying your long weekend, please consider the importance of the upcoming Primary Election.
* In 2014, Metro PD's rank and file opposed Lombardo and supported Larry Burns. Lombardo won because of money from the casinos.
* In 2018, the rank and file still oppose Lombardo, including the police union.
* The police union refused to endorse Lombardo, even as the union president urged members to vote for him. Result? A majority of members did not cast a vote by email (many did not even OPEN the email) - a sign that support for Lombardo is very LOW. These details were not reported by local media.
* Lombardo disbanded the gang unit...in a town with over 500 known gangs! Lombardo downplayed the presence of MS-13 in Clark County, and yet there were 10 murders linked to MS-13 in Vegas last year and five MS-13 members were arrested this year.
* In 2016 Lombardo was the only county sheriff in Nevada who did not oppose Question 1. Sources reported that in private meetings, Lombardo actually supported the anti-gun initiative which was funded by New York leftwing billionaire, Michael Bloomberg.
* In a LV Sun editorial on Dec 11, 2016, Lombardo supported limits on magazine capacity, a view that aligns him squarely with the far left gun-grabbers.
* In 2017 Lombardo was scolded and threatened to lose funding if he did not cooperate with the Feds on illegal immigration, another action that further wedges him into the progressive left.
* Lombardo is responsible for the worst public relations nightmare in the history of Metro PD after the Oct. 1 massacre. Lombardo refused to answer many questions and fought against releasing information even after a court order. Why does it take a court order to force Lombardo's cooperation? What exactly is he hiding?
* Lombardo's campaign ad asking voters to support his re-election has received nothing but public scorn and contempt on Twitter.
It's time the PEOPLE decided who will be Sheriff, instead of the casinos!
Primary elections are well-known for having low turnouts. This is our best chance to FIRE Lombardo. Find someone to rally around, and if that candidate gets more than 50% in the primary, then we have a new sheriff.
But in order to do this, we need to circle the wagons around a viable candidate.
Who should get our support?
The 2A community believes that person is Tim Bedwell. Tim's qualifications speak for themselves...
* Six years as a patrol deputy/officer, 2 years as a detective, 1 year as a patrol Sergeant, 2 years as a patrol Lieutenant 1 year as fatal crash and Motor Unit Commander, and 10 years as a command staff member in the office of the Chief.
* He was promoted to Detective, Sergeant, and Lieutenant the first time he was eligible for and tested for each of those ranks.
* He was directly selected for assignment to command staff by the Chief of Police.
* A decorated 20-year career in the U.S. Marine Corps.
* Education: master's in Criminal Justice (organizational management) and bachelor’s in criminal justice.
* Tim is a stauch supporter of the 2nd Amendment, a life member of the NRA, and his social media comments prove that he is sincere in his support of our civil rights.
Remember, all Tim needs is 50% plus 1 of the primary vote on June 12 to become Clark County Sheriff.
There's a reason why Lombardo has $1.5 Million in campaign funds while Tim Bedwell has only $100,000; it's because Lombardo is Water Boy to the casino bosses, while Tim Bedwell refuses bribes.
Lets make this a grassroots campaign. Find 10 friends who care as much for the safety of our County, State, and Country as we do. Have them all find 10 like minded friends and get all of them out to vote beginning May 26th in the primary. Vote Bedwell for Sheriff.
