official news agency SANA, shows flames rising after
an attack in an area known to have numerous Syrian
army military bases, in Kisweh, south of Damascus.

Some 20 rockets were fired at Israeli military bases by Iranian forces in southern Syria just after midnight on Thursday, with some of the incoming missiles being intercepted by the Iron Dome defence system, the army said, amid sky high tensions on the northern border.
There were no reports of Israeli casualties in the attack. An army spokesperson said damage was caused to Israeli military bases, but that it was “limited.”
The Israeli army said the missile barrage was carried out by members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Forces.
This appeared to be the first time that Israel attributed an attack directly to Iran, which generally operates through proxies.

The late night rocket barrage was also the largest attack, in terms of the number of rockets fired, in the seven years of the Syrian civil war.
The missiles falling around the IDF’s forward positions on the Golan border with Syria set off warning sirens just before 1 a.m.
Civilians were ordered to take shelter in protected areas.
The IDF issued a communique half an hour later, saying: “We view with extreme gravity the Iranian missile attack on the Golan and are ready for a number of different scenarios.”

A short time later, social media reported that several explosions rocked Damascus, and claimed that Israeli jets struck several military sites belonging to Bashar Assad’s forces and the Iranian Al-Qods units near the Syrian capital.
Immediately following the Iranian attack at 12:10 a.m., Syrian state media reported that Israeli artillery fire targeted a military post near the city of Baath in the Quneitra border region, where Syrian regime forces were stationed.
Approximately an hour an a half later, the Hezbollah-affiliated al-Manar news outlet reported that Syrian army air defences were responding to an Israeli air strike against a target south-west of Damascus.
The pro-Syrian government Al-Mayadeen TV said more than 50 missiles had been fired from Syria toward Israeli forces in the Golan Heights.

The Israel Defence Forces spokesperson confirmed that the army had retaliated to the alleged Iranian attack, but would not comment on the specific details.
The IDF sees this Iranian attack on Israel with severity,” said IDF spokesperson Lt. Colonel Jonathan Conricus. “This event is not over,” he said.
Sirens blared across the Golan Heights throughout the exchange, sending residents into bomb shelters. The IDF Home Front Command called on residents to listen to security instructions as needed.
A video shared on social media shortly after midnight on Thursday appeared to show the barrage of missiles apparently being fired by multiple launch rocket systems, or MLRS, from Syria toward Israel.

Largest Show of Firepower in Syria Since the Yom Kippur War!

The Israeli Air Force has just finished with an absolutely blistering counter-attackon Iran in Syria, in the largest show of fire-power by Israel in Syria since the 1973 Yom Kippur War.
The IDF warned Assad to not even think about using anti-tank missiles against its planes, and would be hit immediately if they did.
The Israel Defence Force is taking action at this moment against Iranian targets in Syria. Any Syrian involvement against this move will be met with the utmost seriousness,” wrote Avichay Adraee, the Israeli military’s Arabic-language spokesperson, on Twitter.
A source in the Israeli security establishment said this attack was the largest carried out by Israel since it signed on a disengagement agreement with Syria in May 1974.
According to Arabic media reports, the Israel Defence Forces struck numerous targets across Syria, including weapons depots and Assad regime radar and air defence systems.

The Israeli military would not immediately comment on its specific targets.
Syrian rebels said these strikes targeted three airfields: the Shayrat air base, which was targeted by the United States last year for its role in an alleged chemical attack in the Syrian town of Khan Shaykhun; the Tha’lah air base, in south-west Syria, which has been tied to Hezbollah; and the Mezzeh military air field outside Damascus, which is reportedly home to Assad’s elite republican guard.
A large Israeli bombing raid was reported near the north-western Syrian town of Qusayr near the Lebanese border, a known Hezbollah stronghold.
Syria’s state news agency, after initially reporting that the country’s air defences were intercepting dozens of “hostile Israeli missiles,” later said Israeli jets were“aiming to destroy anti-aircraft defences and radar.”

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was President Vladimir Putin’s guest of honour at the Victory March taking place in Moscow Wednesday on the anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany.
They walked together past the guard of honour, watched the march-past of different Russian army units, and together laid their wreaths at the monuments to the unknown soldier, as the military band played Israel’s national anthem, Hatikva, after the Russian anthem.

Putin said the ceremony also commemorated the victims of the Nazi Holocaust.
The two leaders sat together to watch the main part of the event that showcases the military prowess of the Russian army and its heavy weaponry.
Meanwhile; Trump warned Iran: ‘Don’t restart your nuclear weapons program’
I would advise Iran not to start their nuclear program. I would advise them very strongly. If they do, there will be very severe consequences,” he said.

Netanyahu's Chance to Attack Iran?….

Benjamin Netanyahu knows that, for the first time in generations, Israel has an American president who is willing to fully back them in a war against their arch-enemy Iran, and Netanyahu also knows this opportunity may never come again.
Israel has been repeatedly attacking Iranian targets in Syria for the past few weeks, and tonight Iran directly fired back for the first time.
If Israel is ever going to try and neutralise the Iranian threat, it will have to be done now. Right now.

There’s a familiar feeling of dread spreading across the Middle East.
The drums of war are beating, with some new players joining the frenzied march to wipe out Israel and take over God’s holy city, Jerusalem.
Arafat, Hafez al-Assad, King Hussein and Saddam Hussein are long gone, Now, it’s Putin, Erdogan, al-Assad, Rouhani, Abdullah, Netanyahu and President Trump, fighting for position on the world stage.
How do all of these world leaders fit into Biblical prophecy and what’s next on the prophetic calendar?
No one understands the complex Middle East cauldron like news-maker Bill Koenig from Koenig’s International News.

Gary Stearman from Prophecy Watchers sat down yesterday with Bill for a chat about the situation.
Follow Gary and Bill as they examine the prophecies of the Bible and try to uncover God’s next big move!
