PRESIDENT TRUMP - 'MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN' MAKES PERFECT SENSE!

So what does it mean to make America great again?  When was America great?  What was it like then?  What did "great" look like?

 

The 1940s/50s was one of those times when America was great.   WWII.  Babe Ruth.  Mickey Mantle.  Ford.  The arsenal of Democracy.  US military.  US industry.  American education.  American movies.  American music.  American bigness.  The baby boom.  Heroes.   Happiness abounded.  All great.  America was the best at everything.  Exceptional.  Great.  

And since the USA is the sum of its parts, the USA was great because we the people  were great.  There was nothing even close to being as great as being an American ...  and all the world knew it.   The whole world wanted to mimic Americans.   Dancing. Clothes. Music.  Food.  Hamburgers.  Anything.  Everything.   

What does great look like?  Great is in a curled smile.  A swagger.  A twinkle in the eye.  Confidence.  A cock of the head.  Cool.  Cool Hand Luke.  Independent.  Self-sufficient.  Exceptional.  Pride.  Pride in America.  Ali:  “I am the Greatest.”   

Greatness believes that "We can do anything that we set ourselves to do because we are the best."  Color blind Americans.  Gender blind Americans.  No affirmative action.  No special treatment for race or gender.  Results trump all.  Success.  Winners.  Perfection.  Coordinated perfection.  One perfect body from many perfect parts.  Even perfection in having fun.   Happiness abounds.      

Hollywood take heed.  Stop peddling hatred.  Stop peddling division.  Learn what it is like to have greatness.  To be real stars.   Skills.  Abilities.  Exceptional.  

Some people just don't "get it."   Some will not understand how an attitude of exceptionalism is necessary for the greatness that is demonstrated in perfection, in smiles, and in swaggers.  Perfection.  Love of life.  No hatred.  Just say yes to greatness and no to negative people.  Americans are exceptional.  

That look, that perfection, that self-sufficient independence, and that confidence are what Trump is bringing back to America as he works to make America great again...  Cockiness.  Cool.  Clean.  The look of greatness.  Exceptional.

Greatness.  Think big.  Think as an individual.  Do big.  Do as an individual.  You.  Independent.  Not dependent on government.  A self sufficient part of the whole.     

Yes, as Americans, we are exceptional.   Get with the program.  Mediocre and unhappy need not apply.  Immigrants who lower the average need not apply.  Add joy and happiness.  Be exceptional.   Improve the average.  Help make America great again.
