Every time there is a mass shooting, the left trots out their tired old call for gun control which, at best may occasionally inconvenience criminals seeking a firearm.
Never mind that none of the left’s gun control proposals would have prevented the Parkland shooter, or the Orlando shooter, or the San Bernardino shooters, or the Las Vegas shooter, or the Sandy Hook shooter from legally purchasing a firearm.
What the left chooses to ignore is that, until a citizen commits a crime it is not possible to deny him his constitutional right to own a firearm.
The left never proposes specific legislation that would actually reduce gun violence; because there simply isn’t any. The media never asks the left to explain how their proposed legislation would have prevented a mass shooting after the fact; because it wouldn’t have.
It’s just a left wing kabuki dance designed to convince the ill-informed that the left is actually doing something for them.
