Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown went to Hollywood to raise millions last week. He spoke out about the allegations against one of Hollywood's biggest execs. But he also took money from one of those execs that is apologizing for harassing women.
Friends,
Sherrod Brown and Elizabeth Warren went to Hollywood last week on their regular visits to raise millions of dollars from Hollywood and Silicon Valley.
Brown and Warren have both been outspoken over the salacious details of sexual assault and harassment from Hollywood executives, of course they also took shots at the President while speaking out.
The problem is one of their fundraisers happened to be at the house of Jeffrey Katzenberg, who found himself apologizing for sexual harassment against a teenage actress years ago.

Molly Ringwald essay prompts Jeffrey Katzenberg to apologize for sexual harassment
Jeffrey Katzenberg is on the defensive after Molly Ringwald brought up an unfortunate quote Katzenberg made in a Hollywood magazine.
Katzenberg, the head of a major Hollywood studio — and, incidentally, someone who claims himself to be horrified by the Harvey Weinstein allegations — was quoted as saying, ‘I wouldn’t know [Molly Ringwald] if she sat on my face.’
"I was twenty-four at the time. If he ever sent a note of apology, it must have gotten lost in the mail, Ringwald said.”
Now Katzenberg has apologized to Ringwald but the hypocrisy is great given that Katzenberg spent the last week claiming he fought back against these types of incidents in Hollywood. But the truth is he was part of the culture.
This race is so important because Republican and Marine Josh Mandel will win with support from the grassroots.
But Democrats aren't going to give up without a fight. They are attacking Mandel and his supporters relentlessly, even calling the Marine anti-woman.
Yet Sherrod Brown is truly anti-woman, raising money at the feet of Hollywood execs who harass young actresses. But Brown knows without money from radical leftists he has no chance.
Josh Mandel doesn't have Hollywood, Silicon Valley or even the Republican establishment helping him.
Josh Mandel is a Marine. He served tours in Iraq before running for office. He is a conservative fighter who as Treasurer is improving Ohio's budget and finances.
Ohio went from 46th to 1st in fiscal transparency and climbed out of a $8 billion budget shortfall under his leadership.
He will be a leading voice on tax cuts, repealing Obamacare and supporting Veterans. He will not back down from attacks by Democrats and special interests that want him defeated.
