Trump Dismantles Obama’s ‘imperial’ Presidency, Rescinds Dubious Orders
Democrats are attacking President Trump for “dismantling” President Obama’s legacy on everything from Obamacare subsidies to immigration amnesty, but nobody knew better than Mr. Obama how vulnerable his go-it-alone agenda would be if Mr. Trump won the election. Unable to work with a Republican-led Congress for most of his presidency, Mr. Obama did what he could with his presidential “pen and phone,” issuing executive orders, rules and regulations that in many cases could be overturned by another stroke of the pen — this time by a Republican president. Long before Mr. Obama left office, Republicans were accusing him of overreaching presidential authority, and ... Read More

Hillary Pivots from Harvey to Donald, Spotlight Swings to Bill
Hillary Clinton is very much on the defensive about Harvey Weinstein. So she’s changing the subject to…Donald Trump. Which is, of course, a classic tactic of deflection that others are trying as well. The former presidential candidate said she was “shocked and appalled” by the mounting sexual assault and harassment allegations against Weinstein, a big-time Democratic donor who threw a fundraiser for her. The movie mogul also donated $250,000 to the Clinton Foundation. Yet it took Clinton nearly six days to be shocked and appalled, even as some of her fellow Democrats were speaking out and returning or donating Weinstein’s donations. ... Read More

Trump: Wall Funding Will Be Part of DACA Deal with Democrats
President Donald Trump restated his support for wall funding, telling reporters on Monday that it would be part of any deal with Democrats to legalize illegal immigrants brought to the United States as children. “We need a wall in this country. You know it, I know it, everybody knows it,” Trump said during a press conference with Mitch McConnell on Monday. “We need a wall and that will be part of it.” Trump was asked by ABC’s Jon Karl if he would insist that wall funding would be part of a deal with Democrats to provide a solution for DACA recipients. ... IRS Refuses to Give Back $59G to Vet after Seizing his Business Cash
The Internal Revenue Service is reportedly refusing to give back more than $59,000 to U.S. military veteran after it seized his gas station’s cash during a raid that found no evidence of criminal activity. Oh Suk Kwon, 73, a South Korea immigrant who came to the U.S. back in the 1970s and served four years as a fleet mechanic in the U.S. army, bought a gas station in Maryland in 2007 following decades of work at an electrical plant as an auto mechanic. “When I came to the United States, I had to do something for the country,” he told the Washington Post. He later became a U.S. citizen. ... Read More

Trump Calls on Democrats to Negotiate with Him on New Health Care Plan
President Trump said Friday that congressional Democrats would be “smart” to negotiate with him on a new health care plan now that his administration is ending Obamacare’s government subsidies for insurance companies. “If the Democrats were smart, what they’d do is come and negotiate something where people could really get the kind of health care that they deserve,” Mr. Trump told reporters. “The Democrats should come to me; I would even go to them. Because I’m only interested in one thing: getting great health care for this country.” The administration announced Thursday night it is ending the ... Read More
