Trump's CIA pick more rabid than the rest?

China is also now moving closer to Mexico diplomatically, apparently as a counter-move to Trumps threat to build a wall and make Mexico pay. An article I just read in a Dutch language site says China's rapprochement with Mexico is aimed at profiting from the anti-Trump sentiment there.
Foreign relations is vital and presidents need diplomacy, not just bluster.
Trump has issued an invitation to unintended consequences and has a steep learning curve ahead of him. Of course, he has always assured us: I'm smaht.
I have always suspected that Putin is the smartest guy on the planet, and he is campaigning for a multipolar world. This is what I described here as the Putin Principle, which I said our next president must understand if he wants to help bring about stability and world peace. http://laiglesforum.
The US is still a long way off from accepting this notion, insisting that it is the Exceptional Nation and Indispensable Nation, that can write international law to suit its own needs.
If Putin can make Trump understand that much of our loss of prestige and economic power is a result of our habit of thinking we can bully the rest of the world into submission rather than use finesse, the way Putin does, then Trump can be a great president. Keep your fingers crossed.
Trump is not there yet.
