Ron DeSantis is a member of Congress that served the nation in the Navy before going into politics. He has numerous awards for heroism and is the leader we need to replace Marco Rubio's seat in Florida. Democrats have targeted this seat as their path to take back the Senate and they are already pouring millions of dollars into attacking DeSantis with lies and smears.

DeSantis deployed to Iraq during the 2007 Surge in support of a Navy Seal team. He knows the dangers firsthand of radical Islam and the terrorists that want to destroy America. Since being elected to Congress he has led on military and defense issues but also been front and center trying to hold Obama accountable for the IRS scandal and the VA issues. 

This may be the most important Senate race in the country. Florida is a state Republicans must hold in the Senate and must win for the Presidency. That's why it's crucial a true conservative like DeSantis is the nominee so grassroots conservatives will be motivated to vote in Florida. We can't afford to nominate a moderate who supports Obama's agenda. That's what we are up against.

The latest news out of this race shows the stark difference between the candidates. DeSantis' likely Democrat opponent backs Obama's Iran deal and actually hopes to normalize relations with Iran. He supported giving Iran sanctions relief and the billions of dollars that came with it all while Iran was arresting our Navy Sailors last month. 

Ron DeSantis has been a leader in holding the terrorist regime accountable. He is currently advancing a bill that would allow states to continue to sanction Iran in defiance of Obama's deal. It is a simple states rights issue that the Democrats are afraid of. They want to give more power to Obama while also empowering a rogue nation like Iran.

A Democrat that wants to appease Iran and withdraw America from a leading role on the world stage or a true conservative that has served our nation and knows the threats we face are real. DeSantis is being attacked by everyone from Nancy Pelosi to Harry Reid because they all know how important Florida is for the Senate and Presidency.
