Pres. Obama's Justice Department Lets Lois Lerner Off the Hook
Today, President Obama's
Justice Department announced they would not seek criminal charges
against former
IRS employee Lois Lerner, who oversaw the targeting of American citizens
for their political beliefs. Tea Party Patriots CEO and co-founder
Jenny
Beth Martin released a statement on the decision, saying: "This is just
the latest evidence that the Justice Department, whether under Eric
Holder or Loretta Lynch, has simply become the political hatchet-men for
President Obama and his cronies throughout the Administration. Clearly,
we
cannot rely on the Department of Justice to provide justice.
Consequently, we continue to urge Congress to vigorously investigate the
IRS, Ms. Lerner,
and their illegal persecution of law abiding American citizens." You can

Ex-Im Bank Vote Coming Monday!
The House is set to have a vote to reauthorize the Export-Import Bank on Monday. You'll remember this is a crony government agency that sends
billions of our tax dollars to some of the world's largest corporations. The Ex-Im Bank expired on June 30th
of this year thanks in large part to the
work of millions of grassroots activists along with Senator Ted Cruz,
Congressman Jeb Hensarling, and others. How many times can we say a
government
program shut down? We have to do everything we can to stop it. Be
prepared for an action email on Monday morning to make phone calls and tweets to
Members of Congress.
Keep Fighting for a Conservative Speaker of the
House!
It's official, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) is running for
Speaker of the House after announcing his intentions earlier this week. Jenny Beth wrote a column in Politico Magazine
making
the case that Rep. Ryan would just be more of the same after
conservatives in Congress and grassroots activists forced John Boehner
to retire. Jenny
Beth lists the reasons to be wary of Rep. Ryan: his votes for the TARP
bailout, the AIG bailout, the GM bailout and more recently, his
support for amnesty for illegal immigrants. She concludes: "There’s no
denying that what’s going on in the House GOP Conference is
historic. A Speaker has been dethroned, and his second-in-command denied
the coronation the Ruling Elite expected...The question for the GOP Old
Guard
is not whether or not the path ahead has changed—it has. The question is
whether they’ll work with Freedom Caucus members and help decide
a new direction of the country or continue to fight the change and let

We need to keep up the fight and conservatives need to hear from us. Visit the site and call the conservatives listed
and
thank them for taking a stand against Boehner and McCarthy, but tell
them the fight is not over yet. We need a Speaker who will stand up for
conservatives, not punish those who have the guts to vote their
conscience.
