Friends, Last month the We Decide Coalition filed a referendum to repeal the 1.4 billion dollar tax hike that was passed in the 78 session. This tax package includes the Commerce Tax that 80% of voters overwhelming disapproved of last November. While there has been some push back from supporters of Governor Brian Sandoval, namely the Coalition for Nevada’s Future, we are working hard to ensure that this referendum will make it through the court system and allow voters to decide if this tax package will stay with Nevada permanently. Nevadans have spoken out about their disapproval of this tax package and their distrust in elected officials after the 78 session.
