SERMON - THE BOOK OF REVELATION IN WORDS OF UNDERSTANDING part 8

The Book of Revelation In Words of Understanding Part 8     There are 2 seals remaining to be opened and after edifying what lies within I shall deliver a sermon that God has placed I my heart and mind that hopefully will open your minds and hearts to His path to Salvation. I pray that those words will be the Word that will alter your spiritual lives for evermore.   Now, to the 6th seal:   Revelation 6: 12 I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, 13 and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. 14 The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. 15 Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. 16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?"   The “great earthquake” is figurative language that tells us that God caused the world to be ‘shaken up’ as they were awakened to truth by the preaching of John and Charles Wesley in their lifetime. (Joel 2:10-11) This shaking was a mighty manifestation of truth.    Again, you must understand that Revelation is written in symbolic text and not literal text. Many Pastors either purposely misinterpret the meaning conveyed or do it out of their desire to draw in people for their financial gain rather than the desire to bring them to Christ. Although you may have doubts as to my interpretation of God’s Word consider one thought; what motivation would I have to mislead you? I seek to correctly edify God’s Word as He intends it to be spoken. I have no financial gain to consider and seek only to deliver God’s message as He revealed it to me.   The sun’s darkening is to be taken as the New Testament being explained to God’s people in a manner contrary to what He spoke. When you take the Light, God, out of the world, the result is darkness. The moon turning to blood is to say that as the refusal to accept the truth of the New Testament and returning to denial of the shed Blood of Christ.    “Stars falling from the sky,” is God sending His Pastors to teach truth to men. The strong wind shaking the fig tree denotes His forcefulness of purpose.   The sky as a scroll is man being brought to a union of truth. The mountains and islands are the false places of religion and their false doctrines to be removed.   Then the kings, princes and etcetera, “hid in caves.” Hiding is the denial of the truth of God’s Word. There is but one mountain and that is the religion of truth as God intends it to be revealed.  The ones trying to hide from God’s truth have reason to fear but those sought out and found by God’s message need have no fear.   There is but one ‘Rock’ and that is Jesus Christ. (Samuel 2:2, Psalm 18:31 and 1 Corinthian 10:14)   A person that is ‘hiding’ is a person not being taught truth or one that is in denial of God’s truth. In any case, God will have His Pastors seek them out and tell them truth.   The “wrath” is the judgment that awaits the false earthly systems of false religions that binds men. (Isaiah 28:17)   Revelation 7  1 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. 2 Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: 3 "Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God." 4 Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.  5 From the tribe of Judah 12,000 were sealed,    from the tribe of Reuben 12,000,    from the tribe of Gad 12,000,  6 from the tribe of Asher 12,000,    from the tribe of Naphtali 12,000,    from the tribe of Manasseh 12,000,  7 from the tribe of Simeon 12,000,    from the tribe of Levi 12,000,    from the tribe of Issachar 12,000,  8 from the tribe of Zebulun 12,000,    from the tribe of Joseph 12,000,    from the tribe of Benjamin 12,000.  9 After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice: "Salvation belongs to our God,    who sits on the throne,    and to the Lamb." 11 All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying: "Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength  be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!"  13 Then one of the elders asked me, "These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?" 14 I answered, "Sir, you know."    And he said, "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15herefore,    "they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple;    and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.  16 Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. 17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water.    And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes." The time setting of this seal represents AD 1880 until 1930. This encompasses the time wherein the RCC, the Protestant churches and the true churches of God vied for the souls of mankind. Where the RCC with the Protestant churches are in the majority, the true Christian churches, and we must always be aware that each of us represents a party of the body of the church, with Jesus Christ as the Head of the body, are those that God is and has revealed His truths. Where the RCC and Protestant churches pretend to teach true Christianity they only pretend to do so. Each has its reason for seeking church membership. The RCC and Protestant churches mainly seek money while true Christianity seeks only to bring souls to Christ.   Four angels stood at the four corners of earth. Those corners are North, South, East and West as the earth has no corners but does have the four directions. The winds being held back are the spirits of false religions that give rise to false doctrine. (Ephesians 4:14)   The angels represent the time periods of , first, AD 270 until AD 530; second, AD 1530 until AD 1730; third, AD 1730 until AD 1880; and fourth, AD 1730 until 1880. During all those times a spiritual battle for the souls of man existed. Now, God has chosen to hold back the winds.   A fifth angel came in from the east. The east is where the sun rises and the sun is out Light, God Himself. That angel calls out in a loud voice, signifying one speaking with great authority, to not harm anyone until ‘in,’ not ‘on,’ the foreheads of the servants of God. In saying this we see that the seal being placed is actually God’s Word into the minds of men. While some translations of the Christian Bible say the word as ‘on,’ it is correctly said in the NKJV as ‘in.’ This is the Word of God being correctly placed in men’s minds.    We next read of the twelve tribes of Israel being sealed. This is only a numerical representation as the true number ‘sealed’ is the number redeemed by the Blood of Christ. The multitude of redeemed souls was too great for John to count. They were speaking many languages that signify the vast numbers of redeemed soul from all over the earth.   As John watched the redeemed souls, clad in the raiment of righteousness, fell and worshipped Him. When asked a question as to whom these redeemed were, John correctly answered as they were redeemed souls that had overcome the sins of the world and had been granted Paradise . All earthly suffering and woes were now dead to them as life with God has no place for tears.   Hallelujah!   (Closing prayer)   Almighty God, Lord in heaven, we come to You with songs of praise in our hearts and in our minds. You are our Truth, our Light, and our Everything. All glory is Yours Lord and we praise You and we worship You.   Lord, we thank You for Your Word and ask that You allow us to understand all that is tells us. Lord, as men and women we are frail and often fall. This falling often is representative of our failure to fully comprehend all that You tell us. Lord, open the eyes of our hearts and allow You Light to shine in.   Father, we ask that You protect our military, our elected officials, judges, police, security personnel and our fellow Christians. Be with them, guide them, and protect them from all evil and place Your Word in their hearts. Lord, this we pray.   Father, You are our God and there is no other God, only You.   This we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, who is One with You and the Holy Spirit, One God, forever and ever,   Amen, amen and amen.
