CALL SENATE AND RID AMERICA OF COMMON CORE EDUCATION

Conservatives,  the Senate committee in charge of education is about to vote on a bill to reauthorize No Child Left Behind. No Child Left Behind is a top-down takeover of our schools. But the reauthorization does one good thing: it contains language that allows states to remove Common Core from the classroom. Right now, Washington bullies states into adopting Common Core. Republicans made sure that any reauthorization of No Child Left Behind contains language to help stop Common Core. We must make sure this language stays in the final version of the reauthorization. Call these Republicans right now. They’re on the Senate committee in charge of education. Tell them to keep the anti-Common Core language in any reauthorization of No Child Left Behind. Common Core is a complete failure. Parents and teachers across the country are fighting to free their schools from these awful standards. This is our chance to make sure Washington stops bullying states into adopting Common Core. If Congress is going to reauthorize No Child Left Behind, then Republicans should at least make sure they stop Common Core. Get on the phone right now. Call these Republican senators.
